How about a black goat with red irises in the shape of pentagrams? Or a raven that sings church hymns backwards? Or a transvestite monkey that likes to watch reruns of the flying nun while wearing extra tight fitting baby diapers?

First off...I say no.

Second of all, perhaps there's more to consider.

Ask yourself WHY satan appeared as a serpent in the garden? (hit...satan always tries to decieve).

In Exodus, when the children of Israel are being afflicted by the "flying serpents" moses puts a serpent on a cross (um...symbolic) and says "look to the serpent to live".

This is not doctrine of my faith, however I sincerly believe that at one point the serpent was a symbol of christ rather than of satan. Satan appeared in a manner trying to mimick christ and therefore decieve eve. Moses knew this symbology but it's since been forgotten.

I believe the snake was originally a symbol of Christ.

ok you are getting silly here but there is no reason in the world to not have any animal you want. Just because Satan took the form of a snake in the Garden of Eden did not condemn all snakes. Now with the transvestite monkey wearing those clothes - ohhh i think the little guy needs a shrink! LOL
