There is a program called rockxp, if you downlaod it and install it it should tell you your cd key if that doesnt work id download a windows validation program that rsets your cd key and you can make a new one .

A key is usually imprinted on the side of the PC if it is designed for windows XP.
You could also simply repair the installation without reinstalling anything using the CD.

If those two answers don't help you, then put the cd into a working pc, and get the 800 number that it will show you right off the get go. Call them and explain your situation. I've done it twice now in the last 5 years. They are very nice, and very helpful. I found it best to call after midnight, they aren't so busy then. Good luck. Ron

The CD usually comes with a certificate that contains the serial in the box of the CD.

Check on ur Computer's Cabinet back, sides --- There must be a sticker which will have the CD key on it.. If the CD came with the Computer.

merely get dwelling house windows 7. xp dwelling house version might require greater hassle to reinstall if u have not got journey with drivers. except of direction u have backed up ur drivers already. additionally u can get win xp dwelling house version from torrents and all that.
