pk4 files are just normal zip files with pk4 file extensions. I use 7-zip for my zip files. Actually most ZIP files are compressed using the PKZIP format.

Well if they're pk files then get pkZip/pkUnzip. Winzip is a pk competitor but should be able to uncmopress even pk compressed files.
