I find Ebay a little bit expensive, but...you could give it a try. Canon PowerShot A400, A410, or A420 or A430, Samsung Digimax 403, or Nikon Coolpix L4, or Samsung Digimax A503, Olympus C-315, or Nikon Coolpix L3.

Canon, Nikon and Olympus, but Sony and Panasonic (Panasonic digital cameras are the most affordable ones with built-in optical stabilizers and famous Leica lenses) are also good and are affordable cameras, but ask others as well, and look around the net for some prices, and also read reviews about them, that usually also have some samples with every new cameras.

Some good (English language) review sites are:

I have had quite a bit of experience when it comes to digital cameras and if it's a few dollars you are trying to save but want to have good quality pictures, I recomend finding yourself a Canon. Any one of the powershot cameras takes pretty good pictures, indoor and out.

I recently bought a Samsung 410 series , it was a 4 megapixel camera point and shoot type .It cost me $150 in New York . I think that series is as cheap as you'll get .It works really fine as well with good editing software and a carry case as well .

We got a Kodak Easy Share Camera and Dock from Walmart for about $200 dollars. It is very easy to use and takes wonderful pictures. It so fun to be able to take a picture and print it immediately at home. Good luck on your search. I hope you find just what you are looking for!!!

Ritzcamera.com has pretty good prices. eBay is also a good place to look, just make sure the seller has a good feedback rating.

I would suggest buying one on Ebay. You can find a namebrand one and you probably will get it cheap. Good Luck!
