That's like asking what's the point in eating a steak dinner if you know it's going to end up like poop. Or why watch a good movie when you know it's going to end in a few hours anyways? Who cares what it ends up like? The journey is what it's all about: the experiences, the joy, the happiness, the terror, the laughter, not the sudden stop at the end. Although I agree the fact that it ends isn't fun, it doesn't mean going to Six Flaggs before you go isn't fun.
Life does end, but it has a beginning and, more importantly, a big long middle. I prefer to spend my limited time focusing on the middle than either of the ends.

To live and enjoy a satisfying life here and now must be the only real reason. This life on Earth is the only thing we know with absolute certainty, so simply living it in a satisfying and meaningful manner with our fellow creatures is the best purpose we can find. Eat, drink and be merry may sound shallow and frivolous but it is basically the best we can do. Hopefully some of our merrymaking will include sharing it and caring for others as well .

Birth and death are the two ends of the same life - that does not mean that you dont want to live in between these two certainities. The time between these certainities is to enjoy with what you have and to create something more with which you and others around you could enjoy as well. and that should be the purpose.
You have to have your own goal and purpose - without which, the life will be like trying to swim in the ocean, without knowing the direction of any shore.

We are born by God for God. He has a plan and purpose for our lives, and this life is a trust and a test for where we spend eternity.
The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It's far greater than your family, your career, or even your widest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by His purpose and for His purpose.
The search for the purpose of life has puzzled people like yourself for thousands of years. That's because we typically begin at the wrong starting point - ourselves. Focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life's purpose. The Bible says, "It is God who directs the lives of his creatures; everyone's life is in His power.
How, then, do you discover the purpose you were created for?
You have two options, the first is speculation. This is where most people are. They just guess or speculate or theorise about the purpose of life. The second option is a far better alternative to speculation. The easiest way to discover the purpose of an invention is to ask the creator to explain it. The same method works by discovering your life's purpose. You can find out what God, your Creator, has revealed about life in His Word, the Bible. REVELATION beats SPECULATION any day.
God has not left us in the dark to wonder and guess.
First, you discover your identity and purpose through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Second, God was thinking of you long before you ever thought about Him.
Third, the purpose of your life fits into a much larger, cosmic purpose that God has designed for eternity.

This is unfair to sacrifice our present just because we will die one day. For every effect, there is cause. You are here to do some task and after you,the same job will be given to someone else to continue. This is what life is. Live life to the fullest. Neither Life nor Time stops or ends. They keep on moving. Wish you all the best for the life ahead.

Well honey I guess you don't have anyone special right now. You see you and everyone has a purpose in life. There is something here that you need to do. I am here to raise my grand children and I am loving every minute of it. If GOD has anything else for me to do then I will do it too. I love life and if it is time for me to go then so be it. Now you need to wake up and see what is in front of you. Something is out there for you and it needs to be done just by you. There will be a rough road sometimes but just suck it up and think what might be ahead and get it straight and be happy oh please make it a happy time. Life is worth it just give it a try.

The purpose of living is to glorify God, the creator of life. Mankind was not created to die. But sin entered and punishment of death entered through sin. That is why we have to die after our time on earth is over. Meanwhile, while we are at it, we are supposed to glorify our creator in every way we can. Let us live our lives to the utmost satisfaction of our Creator so that we will be satisfied with our lifestyle as well as others who will be benefited by our life.

The purpose of living is to love and serve God. I guess life is like a test and God gives you your score when you die and that is what really matters is after you die.
