It's hard honies, belive me, I know. Here is what you should do tho, ok?

Try this:
have ONE thing you love the most per day...a hot dog (mine), a sensible slice of lasagne or ONE small serving of whatever food it is you just LOVE, per day.
That way you satisfy that craving.
One per day is all you need to think. ONE.
Then, after time, whittle it down to only once every other day.
and eventually and ideally to once a week. I strongly suggest not going more than once a week for cravings.
If I deny myself a hotdog for too long, b4 I know it I am scarfing down a platter of hot dogs with extra mustard and cheese fries. They key is not to overly deny yourself SOME indulgence. You must want it bad enough to be able to throw some self control in there.
ONCE a day for about a month babe, and go from there, ok? Ween yourself. You can do it.
Or you can try having small snacks throughout the day...a handful of honey roasted peanuts/cashews and some water, then a half bagle with JUST a smearing of cream cheese with water, 4 Oreos with some a half cup of milk, and meals that are sensible. Breakfast should be whatever fruits you can eat with yogurt and 2 slices of bacon or sausage. Lunch is a nice dinner salad with grilled chicken/salmon and half a serving of your choice of dressing. And dinner is a regular, NORMAL sized dinner of anything. Only a fist sized portion of meat, all the veggies you can handle and ONE scoop or spoonful of potatoes and a single piece of bread. That coupled with moderate excercise (ie, taking the stiars instead of the elevator ANYwhere you go, walking to the store instead of driving if you can, etc) will get you to where you want to be weight wise.
Honey just make smart changes like I just suggested. I hate salad as much as anyone...but I love spinach and can eat a chicken spinach caesar salad with light Italian dressing....in a restaurant, if you hav to, make your own. They dont care. You can do it baby.

its not wrong to snack. The question is what do you actually snack on? and how often do you snack?
If you think you need to put a stop to this habit.,drink alot of plain water after you main meal.Drinking huge amount of water helps curb the anxiety to snack or binge.
If your snacking habit is on healthy food, then its perfectly fine sweetie. However if you tend to snack of sweetened or fatty foods eg;ice cream, sweets, fried chicken and all the what nots then that is why you are putting on unwanted excessive amount of weight.
This is because these sweetened and fatty foods take longer time to breakdown and if you do not exercise these stubborn food hence will be stored in your body as fats. You do not want that right. But drinking lots of water do help to speed up the breaking down process and also wash down all the toxins in your body.

Maybe you may wanna change the unhealthy snacking to a healthy one.For a start, whenever you shop for groceries in the store, pick out food items like non-fat yogurt, low fat milk, cereals, wholemeal bread, brown rice, variety of fruits and vegetables.
So whenever you have the urge to eat, grab some fruits. They will fill you after that.Personally for me whenever I stay up late night, when I tend to get hungry i will grab those small baby sized cucumbers or tomatoes .
Its delicious and its fun and healthy way.
Try it..and have fun snacking! :)

- Drink a glass of water, and see if you're still hungry for a snack. You uisualy won't be.
- Try chewing gum. That keeps your mouth busy.
- snack on something healthy, like carrots or peppers. Theyre nice and chewy, and not fattening.

Drink water.
Most of the time when we feel hungry, our bodies are really dehydrated - we just think we are hungry. If you drink a Large glass of water and wait 15 mins...usually hunger goes away...

Or drink a Glass of Milk...that always makes me feel full.

Yes or if you can handle it - snack on celery. It takes more calories to eat celery than what the celery has in itself.
