Hey there, I'm taking a vacation there... soon. And I'm wondering if any of u guys know what to sight-see... or visit. I've been there as a little kid and I know it's beautiful and really hot, but can't really remember what to do or see. lol.

MAlecon--downtown. Has shopping, flea markets, clubs, restaurants
La Mismaloya--most beautiful part of Puerto in my opinion. Beautiful beach, some distance away from everything
Chico's paradise--a one stop tourist haven. Past La Mismaloya. A restaurant located on top of beautiful waterfalls. Also has zip lining facility and shops . BEAUTIFUL location
Nuevo and MArina: nothing special--a ton of mallish like stores. and recently developed so no old world charm.
Have a blast. It's great down there.

I did the Marietas and didn't find it all that incredible. There's a lot of things to do. Canopy tours are a lot of fun. Downtown's beautiful. All along the beach, parasailing and other activities are offered. You'll be bombarded with people telling you about all the things you can do as you walk down the streets. Don't worry, you'll find plenty. Enjoy your trip!

If you have a day to spare, take the water taxi from Boca de tomatlan and visit Yelapa... Or catch a bus North out of PV and visit Sayulita, great place to body surf or enjoy the sun.

Definitely do the Rhythm of the Night boat cruise. Didn't care too much for snorkeling, water is not as clear as expected. There was also a shelly fish close by.

There is a day trip to the Marietas Islands that's pretty fun! You can go Scuba Diving (if certified) or snorkeling with really big Eagle Rays (8-10ft).
