You're here as a greater part of the universe. Yes, as a result of two beings coming together physically, and from the womb of your mother. But, if there were no greater purpose, and no universe, no Earth, no evolution, no mankind, you wouldn't be here. So, it is greater than that. And, there is a purpose for your being here, as is there for every single living, and non-living creature in existence. Physically, you will dissolve when you die. Spiritually, there is no determinitive end to your existence. If you create one piece of artwork, one child, one thought---your death may end very little of your existence.

We come from the womb. You're here to live your life to the best of your abilities and opportunities. When you die, your physical self disintegrates into its separate atomic parts, some slowly and some more quickly, and spread themselves throughout the world. Memories of you may persist for a while in the thoughts of some people.

I'm a Hindu. So here is what I believe.

Where do we come from?
We come from God. God manifested the entire universe from Itself and everything in the universe contains the divine spark.

Why am I here?
Hindus believe that we are all here to serve a purpose, to our dharma (duty). That each of us in this incarnation is not just letting karma play out, but that we each serve a purpose. The purpose could be as simple as being a mother or father to a child, and so on. We also each get the opportunity to go deeper in our spiritual life, to strive towards moksha (the liberation from the cycle of birth, death, birth, death, etc and merge back into God).

What happens to me when I die?
Hindus believe that the atman will exist (it is eternal, having come from God it is therefore like God, eternal). Our consciousness will project a temporary state of existence between incarnations, a heaven. Many Hindus strive to die while being fully aware and their minds focused on God. It is said that whatever we focus our minds on upon death is where we go. Thus, if one's mind is focused on God during the process of the death of the body, the atman can then return to God. If our mind is focused on something else, this is what will be consciously created in a heavenly state of existence. If one goes to the heavenly state of existence eventually karma and desires will pull them back into another incarnation (they will be born again in yet another body). If they achieve moksha, they have merged with God there are then no further incarnations.

So that is what I believe, as a Hindu. I hope you get plenty of answers for you to read.

Peace be with you.

God made you. You come from Him. He put you here so you could get to know Him, to love him, and to learn to do his will, both now, and in the eternity to come. When you die you'll shortly appear before the judgment seat of Christ. He'll determine your eternal destiny, based on his perfect justice and mercy. I came from Vallejo, CA.
I'm here because I can't be there. As soon as I get there, it becomes here.
When I die, I'll probably be dead. That's my assumption, anyways.

I don't mean to mock you, these "soul searching" questions for meaning are really important, but be careful of the answers some people will give you. They may sound "soul filling", but the truth is always very simple.

We come from our parents. God made us. Everyone's here for a purpose. I'm here to do God's will. I will go to heaven when I die, because I am saved by the blood of Jesus.

Why you are here and what happens to you when you die is up to you.

if your friend told you to gather food for a meal such as eggs ,
lettuce , bread but you forgot the bread, you might have to go
back and fetch it and do it all over again, that is why we are all still here cause we keep forgetting the things we really need to do , the thing is some of us are great at being just ourselves so imagine this ... try closing your eyes and breathe very quietly for a few seconds and hear where you re going to.

We came from the presence of our father in heaven, in the pre existence. We are here to gain our bodies and to work toward exaltation and eternal life. When we die, we will hopefully return to the presence of our heavenly father in the Celestial kingdom.

God divine has made us wonderfully and place us in this world and It is divine purpose of God. If you remain faithful you will go to heaven...... But Jesus is only the way, the truth and the life. Without Jesus it is impossible to go to Father (Heaven). When you or I die as per the Living Word of God, we will be in heaven.
