This could be a variety of things, based on your description... We did have a Boston with an obstructed bowel that had the same symptoms, but I also had one with a kidney and liver problem that had similar symptoms... There are others as well, as posted in above answers...
Any way you look at it, this is very serious, and you need to take her to another vet and have tests run on her. Xrays, blood tests, ultrasounds, or whatever the vet thinks should come first. What did the first vet say was wrong with her? Waiting will probably only make this worse.
Best of luck to you and your puppy!
Edit: It differs from Addison's in that she will eat and then throw up. I had to force feed my dog, who had Addison's, and I do mean force it all the way down her throat. But, she would keep it down. That's what kept her alive until I got sick of the vet twiddling his thumbs and took her to a specialist.

go back to your vet now. they have an obligation to help you after taking $500 from you. it sounds like distemper or parvo, but the vet should have tested for them first thing. if the vet has not helped your dog they should refund part or all of your money so you can go to another vet. if they won't do this i recommend requesting a copy of her medical chart so you can have another vet review it. in the mean time you should be giving her nutrical. you can find it at most pet supply stores. it comes in a tube similar to toothpaste and it is a high calorie vitamin packed substance that comes in beef flavor. a couple teaspoons every few hours will help get stronger and give her the calories she needs to put some weight back on. you can also give her pedialite or ice to help increase her fluid intake. when my dog was a pup and really sick and dehydrates the vet gave me saline and 60cc syringe and i gave her 3 dose a day. it's not hard you just grab the skin on the back of her neck stick the syringe in just beyond the skin and administer the saline. it doesn't hurt but will cause a fluid filled bump on the back of her neck that her body will absorb and rehydrate her. good luck

What did the vet do? I take my dog to the vet a lot and yes I've dropped my jaw a few times when they show me the bill, but I have never left without them telling me what was wrong with my dog and what they can do to help. If you paid 500 and they didn't even tell you the diagnosis then you need to go to another vet. your dogs syptoms are still too vague and only a vet can run tests. Your dog sounds like she's in real bad shape.

After $500 and 3 nights I would HOPE the ovious stuff has been covered. However the symptoms can match Addisons or kidney failure. Many vets don't think of Addisons early on , (the textbooks claim it's rarer than it is) so I suspect reminding them of it might be a good idea.

My dogs have done this before usually after they had gotten into something that was poisonous to them. Try giving her a little bit of milk, if it is a poison the milk will help to coat her stomach so she can keep food and water down until the poison passes through her system. If that don't work I would take her to a different vet. Monitor her as much as possible and watch for her to stagger when she walks, this often means she is to weak and it is a sign that her body could be shutting down.

Take him to another Vet my sister and her boyfriend paid out about 400 dollars and I had told them that the vet was wrong there was something still wrong with her dog. So me and my mom were getting tired at looking a sickly dog so we kidnapped him and took him to a different Vet actually my sister wasn't home and my mom said lets take him somewhere else I was charged 35 dollars. and the dog was healed. So, it's not what you pay when it comes to finding a good vet. you just have to look for a good vet. My coworker trusted this vet and sent me there. So get a second opinion.

Sounds like Parvo to me. What did the vet tell you? It's expensive but your dog needs to be at the vet getting an intervenes drip to stay hydrated and fed. If you don't like the vet your at, take your dog to a new one but it will not help the situation much to be moving your dog around. Make sure the new vet is alerted so they can prepare a quarantine area.

Try giving her some peptobismal,( Open her mouth and squirt it down her throat to one side of the other.) Try getting her to drink just plain ol' sugar water, somtimes they will lick it off of your fingers when they won't drink it out of a dish. Then little by little try some wet/can dog food. After not eating for a while, the hard/dry dogfood will further upset and irratate her stomach. Also give her lots and lots of TLC. and TRY a NEW VET.

This is a credit card for veterinary care. all the vets in Oregon accept this, and the ones i have checked in northern California, so hopefully your area too. You will know if application is accepted in just a minute after filling out the form.. http://www.carecredit.com/
Just go to the next page and you will find vet care info for your area.

I would certainly take her to another vet, and begin all over. It sounds most like a blockage, which would require x rays.
