If Jesus really loved everyone wouldn't he accept those who believe in God, such as Jews and Muslims, even if they don't believe he's the son of God? How can a religion of love allow only Christians entry into heaven even if they were pious, righteous people? Just because the Bible says so?

Islam allows Jews and Christians entry into heaven because they believe in God. And as for those who don't, they have the chance to change their mind in hell and go to heaven.

Does it make much sense to turn away people who were peaceful, believed in God, and were harmonious with others just because they're not Christian? Is that fair?

I don't understand either. It's why I turned my back on organized religion, I'm so tired of everyone saying their way is the only way and so on. I just want to live my life until I die. I do my best to be a good person and the notion that this might be all there is doesn't bother me in the least. If I was wrong I'd be the first to admit it. I think that being a good person should truly be the name of the game. It's like Serendipity says on "Dogma". "Your hearts are in the right place, but your minds need to wake up. It doesn't matter what you have faith in, it only matters that you have faith."
Plus, I don't take the Bible literally. Most people don't remember that the King James/NIV/NKJV versions are not the direct word of God. The Hebrew is closer still but all this stuff was recorded years after it happened. Keep that in mind.

Dont confuse islam chritianity and judaism. Muslims do not believe in God but the words preached from god by the prophet Mohammad. If Islam were the sameas christianity or even judaism (which only a jew can practice) their supreme being's name would be God but hold on. Allah isnt even refering to the father the son and the holy spirit but some moon god. their symbol should be the cross cuz only those who believe in Jesus can go to heaven. (Jews dont cuz if they did they wouldnt have killed jesus and they already are the chossen ppl)

Now Jesus does preach luv but u have 2 understand that GOD MADE US. he has all that is in his hand and he can eliminate your presence in but an instance. this aint no democracy dis is a dictatorship he says we're supposed 2 follow but Jesus forgives most stuff when we dont. God luvs us and heaven and hell do exist. Hell quite frankly is wur u go when u say u dont like how God runs things so u shuld go 2 Hell if u cant obey a few orders. after that u can 4 ever.

dont worry about Hell, just worry about getting in 2 Heaven and u wont need 2 giv a damn bout Hell.

Remember Allah= not god
Jesus=Heaven

Bible=Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (acronym)
Qua'ron=bullshit
Mahommad=fake heaven
And lastly Jews have a little easier cuz they're da chosen ppl. as long as they do wht they have 2 like pray and stop from sinning (try) they gain passage into heaven

Edit:The whole purpose of this is to tell you the difference between the most known religions in America and the jews do believe in God but not in Jesus. God a dictator and Jesus is Salvation from his no tolerant wrath

Anyone who wishes to can repent of their Sins and accept Christ as Savior.

Although a lot of Jews have rejected Jesus there are some who have accepted him while maintaining their Jewish traditions (such as Messianic Jews, Hebrew Christians and Jews For Jesus).

When Apostle Paul was preaching he preached that Jews who become Christians should not be expected to give up a lot of the Jewish traditions but Gentiles becoming Christian should not be expected to become Jewish before becoming Christian (such as the fact Circumcision is more painful for Adults than Children).

Any child 12 and under will go to Heaven but 13 and over you better accept Christ if ya wanna get to Heaven.

Jesus came for both Jew and Gentile.

Jesus is the only door to heaven. Rejection of Him is rejection of the Father also. Why would a person want to go to heaven to be with the Father and Son that they don't like? Heaven belongs to God and He has told us what we must do in order to enter. If you've heard the gospel then you are responsible for what you've heard. God did His part by sending someone along to tell you about Jesus. Jesus is a gentleman and He will not force people to receive Him, even if it means that they will go to hell. Those that have truly loved Him have obeyed Him and that is called righteousness because they have believed Him. On judgment day God just might replay for the person standing before Him that person's refusal to accept Jesus as their Saviour. That person will be without excuse. You see, God doesn't send people to hell. People send themselves to hell by their very decision to reject Jesus as their Saviour.

Because Jesus does not preach love. Jesus talks about love, but his overall message is not love. "He who blasphemes the Holy Spirit ... shall never have forgiveness." Does that sound loving to you? This is also Jesus: "For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law."

The myth that Jesus or even the Bible preaches love or peace simply isn't supported by the facts. You can read it for yourself. Once you read what's actually written in the Bible, as opposed to what people say is there, you'll see.

I wish the Jesus character that is all about love and peace was more believed in, but we'd have to edit the Bible to do that, and I don't think the Pope would be all that keen to do so.

I cant understand the people who want to go and spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus when they refuse to accept him here on Earth?
If everyone is going to go to heaven, then it will be just the same as being on earth, so there will be wicked suicide bombers, and hitler and stalin etc.
NO. Everyone does NOT go to heaven, only those who accept Him now. Jesus IS the Son of God, He is a very holy God, and if you refuse His love here on earth then that is your choice.
Jesus said in John14:6, "I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO MAN COMETH TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME."
If you want to be saved then you must truly repent of your sins, and commit your life to Christ. Any less, and yes you will go to hell. That is where you choose to go. You have a choice, reject Christ and reject Heaven.

Well, if they really new there bible, they would see that Jesus died for the sin of the whole world. And one of those sins was disbelief. Nothing anyone says or believes can seperate them from God. They are God.

Unfortunately even the apostles were forced back under teaching the law by fear and manipulation of the church. Paul did not agree with them.

Everyone has sinned against God somewhere. We all are born with the sin nature inherited from Grandpa Adam. God knew we needed a Savior.

God so Loved the World that He sent His only begotten Son (born of a virgin, without sin nature) that whosoever believes on Him will not perish, but will have everlasting life.

Jesus said, "I AM the Way, Truth & Life. No one comes to the Father except by me.".

Hell was made for the devil and his angels.

The sin the Holy Spirit convicts the world of (those that aren't yet reconciled to God) is: not believing in Jesus Christ the Lord. That is because this faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God is what makes people right with God. It saves people from hell.

People go to hell because of Satan's lies. Satan wants more people to go to hell. It is God's will that none will perish and all will come to repentence and have ever lasting life.

Without God's love, our works are dead works. When we receive God's love, our works are done out of love for God.

When people reject God & continue in rebellion that could mean hell for them. That is what the devil did & He believed in God and his end is the lake of fire. When people rebel against God, they choose to do it. God gives people a choice. We reap what we sow. Life itself tells you that and it is also written in the bible.

The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.

This is God. The Bible is His book. And it is well written.

Only thing I can think of is this. Speaking biblically, he died for our sins, he made the ultimate sacrifice, and to turn ones cheek away from him is the ultimate sin. So I guess that's why. He did alot for us he justs wants you to do somehing back for him, believe and have faith. If you don't believe in it why even ask such a question? Christians can't answer this question properly, none of us are Jesus Christ.

READ IT ALL, IT'S GOOD STUFF

First one must realize that even the most righteous have sinned.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

God created us to have a relationship, but it would be fake if he made us robots that followed his every commandment. so he gave us free will. Then, if we could only choose to do good, what good is free will? so he gave us the option to do evil, but in the easiest way possible for us to resist. Here's paradise, enjoy; just don't touch that tree. and we did.

God has made us eternal beings, we will never die. While here on earth, he had given us commandments to follow so that we could be with him if we wanted to...

"if you wanna be in heaven, do X, if not, then do Y"

by him sending people to hell, God is putting his love and respect for your decision before your feelings and emotions

If a child is given a choice which cup to drink, one apple juice and one hot coffee, he will choose one... often they will choose coffee, not fully understanding the ramifications of their actions (we as humans are but children in the universe). if the parent takes that cup away from the child, he doesn't really value their decision and would rather see them happy than value their ability to make choices on their own.

When I was a child, my father used to ask me questions such as, "what do you want for dinner?" I would choose Pizza Hut or Sonic or MacDonald's, of course. he would then reply "wrong!"
I always thought, well why the hell did you ask me if there was only one choice

My father didn't respect my ability to choose what was best for me, and that was wise of him because I was stupid, but God respects your soul, and his ultimate love is to let you make a decision, not make it for you.

If you let the child sip the hot coffee, burn their tongue and then make the decision, they'll always choose apple juice, at which point, the whole choice makes no sense in the first place.

Jesus preached love for all of man, and he died to save our sins, but he loves us enough to respect our decision as an eternal soul where we go when we die.
