Yes!And for the person that answered that"he wasnt wonderful because he was the person that created child leukemia"I would like to let ya know I have a little girl in my life that has leukemia and she is 7.And if you could meet her just once and listen to how much faith she has in God and how she never gets mad at God for it happening to her,she just tries to give God all the credit when good things come her way,or when she feels good,or when she is in a tough time and all she will ever ask for is for peolpe to pray for her cause thats all she needs ,....THEN YOU WOULD TRUELY KNOW GOD IS WONDERFUL!He is great,in control and makes no mistakes, and gives us no obstacles that he knows we can over come...gOD Bless you!

I think She's amazing! Seriously, yes, I love God but my belief about God is not as a "being" or an old man with a long white beard and flowing robes sitting in a throne in some heaven in outer space, but a God as the formless, genderless, omnipresent, eternal energy source of life. God is the process of life itself.

I wonder what an atheist would do in such a situation: Just found out they had cancer, in a space of two weeks it spreads all over the nearby lymph nodes, new lump in armpit every two days, and all they can do is wait for their surgery date.
Would they sleep peacefully? If they did, I bet they'd eventually figure out that Someone was taking care of them, because last time I checked, that's not the "normal" human reaction to such a situation...

if by god you mean that idea people have created to keep weak people from going crazy...sure. instead of reading the same book over and over again, try reading other books about new ideas. several thousand years have passed since that the last book you read.
if people are still around in a few more thousand years, those people are going to look back and say how foolish we looked for believing in Greek Mythology, Beowolf, God, and all that jazz...it will be like looking at those primitive people drawing on cave walls.

I know he is wonderful I recently stopped wearing glasses after 30 years without any kind of surgery. It was a true miracle. My optometrist couldn't even explain it. I was recently diagnosed with diabetes which improved my eyesight instead of worsening it. So yes, GOD is wonderful.

Are we talking about the same God that created humans imperfectly, damned them and all their descendents for his mistake, came down to Earth pretending to be his own son, had himself (as his son) killed as some sort of sacrifice to his creations, yet still causes child leukemia, holy wars in his name, Catholic priests to rape young boys, and, in the general cosmic sense, might as well not even exist?
Then, yeah, there's a lot of wonder to be had there.
