I have heard (kind of a consipracy theory) that there is somethinf developed in the world that stops people from ever getting cavaties etc....But it has been kept Hush Hush asalot of companies would lose money on all the products out there that are sold (toothpastes, mouthwashes etc..) so it has never been made available for the public. These companies all stand to lose too much and there would be less need for dentists and they would all lose money too.
Like the lightbulb in that fire station that has been burning for over 100 years....they won't sell them as then no-one would ever need to buy a light bulb again....(that is 100% fact, you can view the fire station on the net as they have a camera hookedup that shows it all the time and people can place bets on when they think it will go out - but it never has!)

Has anyone ever heard of this thing for dental/teeth?
I know it may just be a myth, but it was told to me by someone in the industry,so I believe what they say to be true.

I have never heard of anything, and I am in the field. There are a couple reasons that if there was something that prevented cavities it WOULD be available. You would still need toothpaste because your teeth would still get plaque on them and your breath would still smell if you didn't brush. You just wouldn't get cavities!
The dentists would still make money because they would still have to repair all the fillings from when people still could get cavities and they would start specializing in more cosmetic options and people would do this more because they wouldn't have to worry about spending money on cavities!
So while I wish it were true, I really doubt it.

If such a thing were possible, how much money do you think could be made selling this product? A company could make this product for a long time, since not only would the people currently living need it, but also the people about to be born. There would be millions of new customers every year.

Toothpaste companies could not (and would not) conspire to keep this product off the market. Too many of them would be interested in getting the product and offering it to the public themselves. And this product would have minimal influence on mouthwash sales, since most people use that to fight bad breath rather than prevent cavities.

As far as the 100-year lightbulb, while it is theoretically beneficial, it is relatively useless. The lightbulb in question is about a 4-watt lightbulb, far dimmer than any practical light bulb. It is also never turned off.....a big part of the wearing out of light bulbs occurs when you turn it off and on (think of how many of your light bulbs burn out when you turn them on, rather than just 'going out' while they are working).

You can see this 100-year working lightbulb, as well as its story, at www.centennialbulb.org

Yes. That is the company who makes "dentures" !!! Use their product.. after that you can purchase dentures from them and use it life long.. no cavities any more..as you can brush it properly in by taking it in your hands .. LOL
