What you're talking about sounds like superstition. What happens is that your dreams always depend on your daily activities because of your brain's memories, and perhaps your going to sleep on your back affects it too.

Things that can cause it.
1. Reading or watching horror films/books
2. Dabbling in white / black magic and like spiritual stuff.
3. Parent/Grandparent/Great Grand..etc.. is/was into Witchcraft, Satanism.
4. An evil spirit may be harrasing you.

it could b all in ur head... did u have this nightmare while laying on ur back??? well if sooo when u lay in that position it remindes u of it and it replays in ur mind......
