Yes because the color of a skittle infers what the flavor is. For instance: a yellow skittle isn't going to have the taste of cherry, just like a red skittle won't have the taste of lemon. I hope my answer was helpful.

Of course it does...every color of skittles correlates to a different flavor...now M&M's...not so much, although I do think that brown ones taste a bit more chocatley...but as far as skittles go, yes, the color indicates the flavor.

the dye itself doesnt effect the flavor. But they do color they according to the flavoring. Think about it. If you got a blue skittle and they told you it was watermelon.. It would be weird. The color associated with the flavor makes it more appealing.

yeah i do b-cuz they flavor them according to the color of them and would you want to eat something that was all the same color but different taste. i know that i wouldnt. but that is just my opinion.

No,the flavering is added first, then the outside coating color is added....to match the inside flavor that was added to the Skittle...

No. I think they use food coloring to change the color, which has no taste.
