Because unfortunately, some people are too busy being jealous, hateful, rude and judgemental to lower their guard and just smile at others. Sad isn't it? *Big Smile*

It's an interesting question.
I think those girls have a low self esteem and in order to try to built up a self esteem they look for bad things in other girls, as if that's going to make them any better. They're judgemental and even try to break down other girls' self esteem, maybe thinking that it will repair their own broken self esteem or make it seem higher than it actually is.
I get those looks from girls every now and then. It's far from all girls who send those looks though. I guess it's mainly those who can't find another way to work on their own self esteem.

I think age does change this - I met so many people in college that were from different places and all being new to eachother, its like you're children again - learning to make friends - you start to learn to appreciate the simple things again and find it refreshing people caring about little things - made me appreciate so much in so many and love all of my girlfirends...and care about strangers that may be insecure, etc. I think if you try first, you would be surprised at the kind response you would get...but you are right a lot of girls dont exude GOODNESS...and we that do need to try to influence the haters. Good luck and I hope you surround yourself with lovers, not haters.

Many don't have fathers who take the time or are even have one in their lives,to let them know they are special and give them what they need to become secure....men tend to hurt & hate too..they just express it in different ways..it's eaiser for them to be aggressive with their attitudes & behavoirs as society allows them to be that way just because it's considered "typical male aggression"..it is not proper for females to behave like that though...so it shows up more when they did it.
The last couple of generations have never been taught not to live by their emotions ...rather than using self control and realising others have feelings too...no one thinks about how what they do will or that it does affect others,as long as their "feelings & ways" are heard & done...
Since parents aren't
allow to teach their good & proper "vaules & morals" to their kids anymore..we are a society of ruthless, cruel, selfish and very uncaring society now....not that all are like that...the majority are though...as it's their "right" to be like that?? A person's rights were never intended to harm society , as a foundation for the REAL ones we have in our US Consituation.
Look how disrepectful, ignorant, callous & cruel protestors of the war are to those who are grieving & trying to bury their lost loved ones..who by the way have died so these cold hearted & thoughtless people CAN do what they do....hopefully people don't show up & be as nasty, rude, heartless & down right rude at their funerals & burials !! You do reap what you sow !!!

Girls are just vicious, cruel, and plain evil..I am always getting glares, and I don't think there's any other explanation other than that most do have all the qualities mentioned above..guys can't help themselves when it comes to sex and most girls just feel the need to be catty...

Personal jealously, poor perception of other view points, lack of knowledge of human nature and environment under which one is brought up are some factors. It is wrong to say that girls are haters. To fight hate we must develop tolerance.

i kinda notice that too. It's always easier to make friends with guys. Most women would stare at each other as if they're all in a one big competition. I really dont know why. You have a good question.

I agree. It seems that the 7th grade way of thinking doesn't seem to leave many girls.... but believe me, it gets WORSE once you become a mom. New moms are more vicious and critical than even 7th grade girls!!!

Girls aren't just haters... guys are too.... It's not a gender thing, it's a type of person thing.
