The most common excuse I hear is "They are all hypocrites. They say they are all holy, but I see how they live." The truth is that (in my church anyway) we don't claim to be perfect, only forgiven.

Most common excuses -- I'm not interested or I'm too busy.
How do I answer them -- Not a problem. If you might be interested some day, here is some evidence for the existence of God and for the truth of Christianity.
Worship is telling God we love him; and experiencing God's presence, and enjoyed being with Him.
Church is a mutual support group where we help each other through the difficulties we face in life. And where we help each other grow to trust the Christian God more, and to grow closer to him.
I empathize with your statement that you are the reason Jesus had to suffer. I too am part of the reason why Jesus chose to suffer.
Cordially,
John

Hey there. I believe that people should be given their freedom to pray wherever they want to. God is everywhere, hence why should we be restricted from praying to God? I know that we can, but if that is so, why do people who doesn't go to church be frowned upon? I think those who pray to God every day and night but doesn't go to church is better than those who go to church but talk about other people behind their back (just because they don't go to church). I also believe that there should be NO middlemen between me and my God, and only my God has the power to forgive my sins, not some group of people who has a high tendency of raping my kids. God's words are in the Bible. I read the Bible. Hence why should I need another person to read the Bible to me? Middlemen giving forgiveness is a very stupid ides. God is Almighty. Nobody has the same power and right as He has.

I would like to find a church with no cliques. I have belonged to three churches in my life (on a regular basis -- I have been to more than three churches), and all of them have been small, and had cliques of people, much like high school. In my last church, my pastor was more concerned with his singing career than with leading the youth in the church (I was the youth group leader, and he refused to have meetings with them directly at their request.) I understand that I may have just attended unorganized churches, but I seem to become more discouraged with each church I attend. I read my Bible on a daily basis, and make an effort to pray every day. I live in a Christian home and have discussions with the Christians (as well as non-Christians) in my life. I try to help those who aren't Christian to see what they are missing. I am looking for a church that can prove my "excuse" wrong, but so far I have come up short. I pray that the Lord leads me in the right direction....I know He will.
I know this didn't directly answer your question, but I hope it gives you some insight into why I don't go to church on a regular basis.

The desire to be worshiped is a selfish quality that does not belong to a perfect deity.
Churches and religions were developed by mankind to fulfill the inner desires of the common man. If you don't have those same desires, then by all means feel free to avoid church and religion. Being a part of them does not make you a better person.

You don't have to "join a church" to be a christian. And if they are all filled with sanctimonious people, I won't be joining one any time soon. All most of the churchs are today is a way for people to show how "GOOD" they are by showing up every week and misquoting scriptures. Oh, and I forgot, to show off their latest acquisition, be it a new pair of shoes, or a new car. I absolutely abhore people like that, and most churches are full of them.

Perhaps--I'm not Christian? I know that's the reason, not the excuse, I give for not going to a church. Sorry, but churches don't exactly work for non-Christians. My religion doesn't even really believe that congregating is necessary.
My worship extends beyond a single Deity to include all who love Humans.

I haven't joined a church because I don't believe in God. I'd answer that by saying "Good for you, me too."

jesus christ, people extremely do ask something the following... to respond to your question, it would want to or gained't be an excuse. If the lady is extremely sleepy, she will be able to assert it. If the lady doesnt favor to communicate anymore, she would say it to keep away from the convo.
