He wasn't created...and if we could understand that, then WE would be omniscient, but we're not, so we don't.

to me, the question is absurd as Gd, *by defintion*, was not created.
So, it sounds like you're asking "who/what created that which was not created?" Obviously, that doesn't make too much sense.

As to what it means to have existed forever -- beats me! But then again, the theory of relativity shows that time isn't a constant, and we can encounter wierd situations (theoretically) which I personally find to be almost beyond the ken of human knowledge.

But, in a cause and effect universe, which is the basis for modern science, one must postulate a first cause. So, whether its g-d or something else, the question will always remain (though, as I explained, I don't know if it's as much a big deal vis a vis G-d).

God (or something) has alway existed. Although we know that's not possible, we also all know it's true. Think about it for a while. It's a total mind trip. So the right question is, WHAT has always existed? And the follow up question, why do our minds believe something that we also believe to be impossible? Crazy stuff but there is an answer.

God is eternal. People always say God has always existed and that would mean that God has existed as long as time has but thats not the case. God exists outside of time and is not confined by the properties of time. In Genesis 1:1 God creates time. Therefore we as beings that are confined by the definition of time and so forth cannot possibly comprehend what it would be like to live without time and therefore can not really understand how God is eternal.

The New Testament speaks of how Jesus and God were made simultaneously. The Old Testament speaks of where God is from, and I can't remember where or what it said. But, to get into a little Science here...
Our Planet Earth, and the Galaxy of The Milky Way, is NEAR CENTER to the UNIVERSE, which COULD mean that God's HOME isn't THAT VERY far away! Hope this helped!

I do believe in the one true living God. God was never "created" He just always was. He never ceased to exist. Even trillions of years before the earth was created.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell, the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the living in the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. God was not created; He always is, was and ever shall be. God bless you.

I do
And uh, by the way God is the Creator not a Creation.
So If the Creator is created then God wouldn't be a Creator.
WE couldn't understand fully about God's existence and "substance" because humans are made of mass and energy. and God created mass and energy,
so God can't be mass and energy.
now, can you tell me anything that has nothing to do with mass and energy?
See, everything we feel, see, hear, touch and remembered consists of mass and energy. since God is not either of them,
How can we truly understand God?
If you make a novel, do you understand fully the content and story of your novel?
How about your novel, does it understands who you are, your personalities, etc?
Hope this helps
I'm a moslem by the way.

I believe in God...

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

God was never created. He always existed. This is a rational viewpoint (i.e., it is neither illogical nor irrational).
