Australia excels at Light infantry operations, particuarly in jungle environments.

This grew out of our experiences in WW2, and can be displayed by our records in the Indonesian Confrontation and Vietnam.

They are loyal and dedicated and well trained and by US well equipped. They have joined US troops in every foxhole since WWI. Australians enlisted in the US army to fight in Vietnam as volunteers. They get what a dangerous place the world is. Only US stood between them and Japan in WWII. Americans should honor Australians where ever we meet them.

Defensively, they've got one hell of a hostile climate in their favor. It's unique, so their "home-court advantage" is huge. Additionally, Australia's military technology is up there with the rest of the first world. They've got some of the best toys. And lets not forget their handy work in WWII. They did some pretty fierce fighting.

They have excellent communications units, a lot of thanks from that goes to ex british troops who join the australians. Their SF is also good, trained by and modeled on the British SAS/SBS

They have good boomerang throwing skills, they could probably knock someone out with those, or give them a nasty laceration that could get infected.
