Depends on how much you've already stressed out your flowing locks. Are they coloured, permed, teased, straightened or neglected?! Personally I dry the stuffing out of mine with the dryer so i can get the fluffed/teased/spikey DO!! If I go bald too soon I'll do the beanie thing. Your are being very considerate doing the "cool air" option.

Directions: Blowdry down the shaft of the hair, not against it. This will help prevent the cuticle from opening and causing frizz.
Now, it really depends on the condition of your hair...if your hair is long and damaged at the ends first, get a trim and then start using a thermal styling product for protection...if your hair is short and/or healthy you'll still want to use a thermal styler but blow drying in general is not unhealthy.

It is bad to blow dry you hair with it on warm it burns your hair because it becomes so hot, it really doesnt hurt it too much to use the cool air but the best way to dry your hair and keep it healthy is to let it air dry.

Cooler air will impart less heat damage but takes longer and the more you pull and stretch wet hair damages it. To minimize damage towel blot hair thoroughly, apply a heat protector then blow dry in small sections. Make sure you use med heat, and keep the dryer no less than 12 inches from the hair. Remember to condition, condition, condition. Good luck!

It's actually a good way to blow dry your hair. Heat can damage your hair by making you hair very dry and brittle.

No. Blowdrying is ok. Just don't use a real high setting. It is also good to remove all the excess water before blowdrying. Use a good brush. Preferably a Denman.

a blow-dryer is only as bad as you make it. if you use the correct motions and keep it far enough away from your scalp you will be just fine. the cool option doesnt make much difference, really.

No.......It's harmless, and cold air "sets the hair" to help maintain the life of the hair design.
