The fundamental hard-core Christians are so involved in their beliefs that to even consider any other alternative is blasphemy. I'm sure this goes with other religions as well. I'm a Christian myself, but love to engage others in debate. Unfortunately, it is difficult to do. Have you ever noticed that engaging a Christian always leads them to use circular logic. Hence, once can never win the argument. I once asked a hard-core Christian this..."If I built a time machine, went back to the time of Jesus, and prevented him from fulfilling his destiny (kidnap him), would we all still be Jews?" His response was that God would smite me.

But then doesn't that go against "free will?"

This works well for phone solicitation by religious groups....when some calls/talks to you about God and religion, say this....

"The Bible is the greatest bestselling work of fiction of all time and Jesus was a fantastic magician for his era."

Actually I have considered it. ...and unfortunately I understand what by_hisgrace meant, but don't worry about it. I am educated and have considered that alternative. I also have experienced what they experienced on the day of Pentecost. That is how I know this is real. People , even people who say they believe in the Bible, say that the experience is not real. They make proclamations like " it was, but has ceased." That was just for the apostles or those the apostles laid hands on.

However, millions of people have experienced this. This is spreading like wild fire. People can not argue with millions a separate experiences.

Sorry, I got on my soap box. You got a little more answer than you asked for. This is the reason I converted.

first and superb, in case you even suspect that's real, make the fastest and most secure go out you possibly can from this difficulty. yet regrettably for most, in the experience that that they had the skill to stay with that, they'd have by no skill gotten into the priority to commence with. yet from a in uncomplicated phrases tutorial attitude, there are some signals which serve nicely as warnings. a million. Pathological mendacity. the lack of ability to tell apart between truth and a fixated favor. 2. an finished lack of ability to be empathic of the desires and thoughts of others. 3. A continual belligerent and abusive attack on any who disagree with them. 4. A predefined description of yet another's existence from which departure isn't allowed. There are extra, yet those are sufficient for any sensible individual to act upon. yet as I suggested above, if someone disregarded (denied) the signals of habit at the same time as coming into the courting, opportunities are intense small they are going to conquer that denial and free themselves from it. i have already had one close buddy murdered through her baby's father, being completely conscious of the violence that individual become able to, and had obviously confirmed. Now, I understand there is not any longer something that any one can do for yet another to enlighten them. someone is both committed to truthfulness, or they're no longer. if you're no longer committed to truthfulness, you gained't require it from those round you both. extra usually than no longer, we are deceived because we confirm to be. The unrealistic conception in yet another's skill to regulate, is the known reason you opt for to get into the courting to commence with. that's step one in all denial, and customarily deadly. It's like asking if you have considered that there might be an alternative to gravity that actually holds us on the planet.
In Africa right now there is a congregation of 10,000 people who,at different times, were diagnosed multiple times with AIDS and were prayed for,at different times, and now have medically documented prof that they are AIDS free.
I know of a woman whose two grand daughters died and had been dead for several days and she got her pastors to pray for them and they came back to life.
I know of a man who had been dead and embalmed and a man prayed for him and he came back to life.
There are so many people being raised from the dead right now in South America that they have stopped counting.
I broke my collar bone(had it x-rayed) had someone pray for it and it was instantly healed(had it x-rayed).
Check out the book "Mega Shift" verify all of the stories and you tell me if an alternative should be considered?

Because whether or not they will admit it, they have. Most believers will face the question of whether God really exists or not. These people have questioned their faith, and their God. They have worked hard in their journey to find him. Once they have found him and the joy they bring, they want other people to find him as well to experience the same joy.
