low pressure steam boilers can not exceed 15 pis at normal operating level high pressure steam is any thing above 15 pis
low per sure used manly for heating while high pressure is used for mechanical processes like power generation no mid pressure steam

Depends on what the designers of your system decided to call low, mid and high pressure steam. I once worked on a plant where low pressure steam was used for process heating, mid pressure for process steam turbines and high pressure for power plant steam turbines. Sorry can't remember the pressures.
