It's not really good to only eat one huge meal a day. You should be eating 3 square meals or even eating small portions 5x a day. You might mess up your metabolism if you are only eating once a day. You should talk to a nutritionist who could better tell you how your eating habits are affecting your body.

Generally that will slow your metabolism. For most people the best practice is to eat around 5 small meals in a day in order to keep the metabolism running at a steady rate.

When do you eat it? If it's in the morning it might work. Do you eat smaller meals in addition to one big meal? What do you eat? If it's fatty carbs or sugar and late at night - all those things make a difference.

Generally you won't gain NOR lose. It takes a healthy eating habit and excersise program to lose weight. U need those foods to gain energy to burn fat. So doing that won't help, it can actually hurt u. And don't forget breakfast is the key.
