I need to find a way to have my pc autorun winamp and play an auto generated playlist of new songs created in a directory dialy. Basically I use winamp to re-encode new songs (uses a playlist) that I have a aquired into the correct format. I would be nice it it could somehow verify new files and the delete the originals. This would save a lot of time and engery. Please help!! A batch file perhaps?

WOW! Check the HELP section of the program, and try emailing the software company.

There are some winamp plugins that allow you to control it from a commandline, like this one http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=58602

You could create a batch file that runs at a particular time that starts the winamp executable and uses the 'clever' plugin to autoplay your playlist. The name of your playlist might need to be the same each time to make the batch file a bit easier to write. It would be possible to use different playlist names, but the batch programming gets a little more complicated, but certainly doable.

Here are some more links for winamp command line utilities that might do exactly what you need. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=winamp+command+line&spell=1
