It is yahoo who makes the decision. People can report you until they're blue in the face, but you won't receive a violation unless you did something you shouldn't have.
As for the questions people ask, I don't know. Sometimes a person misunderstands the question. For instance, someone today was asking about her chances of getting pregnant with clomid, and the person answering thought clomid was some form of birth control and got on her case about how she shouldn't have sex if she wasn't ready to be pregnant. What this person didn't realize is that clomid is a very common fertility drug. The person asking the question wanted to get pregnant, but was having fertility issues.
In other cases, questions are just worded wrong because the asker has a primary language other than English. Again, they can't help it.
Of course, there is always the "stupid question"...but those people are likely to get a violation before you would.
Honesty is great! Keep being honest. I can only say ready over the "community guidelines" and try to follow those while you are being honest. Hope this helps you! :)

I have the same problem with getting rude comments to my answers. When people come here seeking answers, I try to answer from my own experience, and if I'm not sure, but it's an interesting question, I'll go to reputable websites and look the answers up. Occasionally I'll throw in my opinion, and people can get so upset. Last I checked, I wasn't living in Cuba or China...this IS America, right? We DO have freedom of speech, right? If a person is going to get so completely irate over me expressing my opinion, then that person needs help. There are so many more important things to worry about than a complete stranger's opinion. If you don't like what I have to say, then move on...it's simple as that.

I have a big answer for you. Honesty is a wonderful thing. and most people appreciate the honesty. But how honest are you being. Are you being a jerk about your answers? Last week i got an answer i wasnt fond of, so i looked up the profile, and it turned out to be some girl in highschool. I was asking for a parening tip. What wisdom would a girl in highschool have for me? None. so i was put off about that. I have no problem with honest answers, but put a little compassion in your answers. You seem to be the type of person that just spits it out, with out thinking of the consequences. I dont know what any of your answers were, so i cant say if you were to harsh or not.... but i can take the brutal truth much better from someone that uses compassion, same brutal truth from someone being a total *****.....NO!!! Not going to stand for it!!!!

how are you going to anticipate all people which could help you write a tale once you look to have any such unfavorable draw close of grammar and utilization? No offense meant, yet you want to commit your time to a extreme study of English utilization earlier attempting to jot down something. I truly have revealed many articles in newspapers and magazines, and there is not any longer an editor everywhere that would submit you if the phrasing of your question is any social gathering of your writing. i'm no longer attempting to interrupt your thoughts, yet in case you ever positioned up something to an editor that's as poorly-written as your question, you would noticeably-a lot damage your possibilities of being considered heavily by utilizing that editor. once you're somewhat attracted to writing, %. up a replica of author's handbook 2006 and likewise the A.P. Stylebook. each and every strong author makes use of those, as well as a dictionary.

I totally agree with you. A lot of people can't handle the truth. There's an old saying that if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. So in essence the people on here that can't handle a truthful answer should not post a question.

Well, since you can't go to prison or be fined, I would give a rat's butt about what the yahoo police are saying. It's great that you speak your mind. If someone can't take it, then they need to get off the website.

You might be getting reported because you have trouble finding the period key.
Seriously, I only report people who talk about sick stuff. Don't know what the reason was with you.
