I personally believe the dog chooses the name. I would always choose so many names before i got my puppies. The breeder would tell me she looks like this and acts like this. But when i actually pick her up, the names just flew out the window, and a new name just pops into my head that I know would fit her personality. Then my friends meet her and give her a name and now my Maltipoo's name is
Amber Cloud Connie Rosita Fan.

Try to look at what the line of mothers she came from, then look for the traits and characteristics she has, and then once coming up with several names that you like put them all in a hat and draw from the hat -- if one name jumps out at you like that is the perfect name for her, then you have it otherwise I have found that drawing the name from the hat has been a true way to get a name and the pet normally loves their name! Good luck and best wishes!

You should wait a while and see some of the things she does. So you won't regret her name later, like if it does not match her personality, but I love the name Sonya. I am not good at boy's names though.
