The arguement isn't over LEGAL mexicans, it's over those who have entered this country ILLEGALLY. I am not against anyone wanting to come here to make a better life for themselves, but this nation has rules and regulations. Those rules and regulations should apply to EVERYONE wanting to be in this country. If you, as a mexican, want to remain in this counrty, GREAT!! I'll welcome you with open arms, provided you go through the proper channels, become a citizen, work and PAY TAXES like everyone else is required to do and LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is NO other country that would welcome outsiders who don't know their language and customs, let alone bend over backwards requiring their school teachers, elected officials and everyday working class citizens to learn someone else's language to keep their jobs. This is an ENGLISH speaking country. While you are more than welcome to speak your native language in your home and in public, you should be REQUIRED to be able to communicate with the masses in the language WE speak. No one has said that this should be a "white" nation only. I am sure there are some a$$holes who may feel that way but those a$$holes have always been around. Now, how can any mexican, legal or illegal sit and point fingers about being disrespected or looked down upon when some clearly demonstrate their disrespect for this counrty and it's people. It's actually very simple, if you don't want to come into this country and play by the rules, get out and don't expect us to change them to suit you. That's what you have your own country for.

Again you fail to put the emphasis on the right issue. Most Americans have no problem with the Mexican part of the equation it is the illegal part that is the problem. Who the hell said we wanted a white nation? You are spouting ignorance. Most of us don't have a problem with the Mexicans who are here legally. We just resent working hard and paying taxes and they get the benefits of food stamps, welfare, free hospital care and more things that are free free free but only for Mexicans. That isn't right. You can form the question anyway you want, but that is NOT right because they don't pay taxes. Questions and thinking like this make us wonder about your common sense and degree of logic.

I have no issue with color, or the amount of time they even spend on the subject. Wasn't too long ago we were the illegals in Mexico! I don't want a all white Nation, the other side does for the most part.

What we have a problem with is the fact you are coming here illegally, against our rules and laws. The rules and laws WE ALL MUST LIVE BY in the great USA. But for some reason Mexicans believe they are above our laws and rules.

Sure America is made up of people from all over the world. Great!!! But one small important fact about them compared to the Mexicans. They all came over legally, with papers, passports, etc. They did it the right way, the legal way, the AMERICAN WAY.

Most people I know agree with me that it's the illegal part that is a problem for us. Just by definition, an illegal has committed a crime.

I have a friend whose family came here legally from Germany in 1999. They are still waiting on their green cards, because the illegals have over burdened the system. I don't think that it is fair that they cannot get their green cards while illegals seem to think that they deserve special treatment.

[In the case of my friend, her husband did come here with a job lined up. However, until they get their green cards, the wife is not allowed to work....and she obeys the law by not working.]
