My perception of a strong relationship is not to let your thoughts and feeling be too complicated. Both parties should not set high expectation of each other.

Always be a good listener whenever your partner tell you something, if you are not in the mood just simply tell your reason nicely to him/her that you treasure the conversation but just today you not feeling well and will have it discussed the next day.

Do not jump into conclusion of anything everything can be resolved in a nice manner. In time to come your partner will gain respect with you.

Need not have everyday conversation through the phone. May suggestion that conversation be kept till you meet your partner. This way you wouldn't run out of topics and every outing of yours will be colourful. This will greatly improve your relationship.

Last of all be both parties must have the trust, understanding and love for each other. Hope my sharing may be a little help to your relationship. May God bless you with a fruitful relationship. (^_^)

i've always believed that love is based on three components: passion, intimacy, and most of all, commitment.

~ passion; the flame is still there,
~ intimacy; both of you can confide in each other and,
~ commitment; loyalty.

if you have all those checked, i truly believe that a relationship can last long with that.
