I don't believe that the American Cancer Society spends most of its money on giving money directly to cancer patients. It funds research on cures and treatments for cancer. In that way, the American Cancer Society has helped millions. Many cancers that were once a death sentence are highly treatable today.

Yes. My boyfriend and i stayed at Hope Lodge while he was getting treatments.This is run by the cancer society. Don't know what we would have done if not for this place.

i have cancer and i really meet alot of people and not anyone that i no and meet has got help from the acs.
