I do thank those of you who believe this situation, for your compassion, and respect the opinion of those who think my situation is a made up story.I do hope you never have to walk away from a two year old while she is crying and reaching out her hands to have her "Papa" come back. I lost my home, family, workspace, and my little bit of pride. I want to believe there will be a good end to this story, but my imagination just isn't that great.

I will be praying for you and your situation. I do not judge you because of being able to post this on answers, for every public library in the US now has computers, there are internet cafe's that offer cheap rates for computer usage, plus there are always homes of friends and relatives.

GOD does answer prayers, and I will ask HIM to answer mine on behalf of you and your family.

GOD BLESS YOU.

Lois, most churches send people to DSS these days. DSS is overloaded for the most part, and turns people away a lot.
Yes, sadly, it is more important to send the youth groups to amusement parks and build huge buildings than it is to minister to the needs of the people of the community. Sure does look like many do not believe that which they preach...if they believe the return of JESUS CHRIST is imminant, then why is it that they aren't doing the will of the FATHER? If we are going to be "raptured out" like they say, then why are they building all these big fine buildings? VANITY AND PRIDE.

My mama had it right many years ago when she said that a person can starve to death looking at a pretty dish if there is nothing inside of it.

I genuinely feel sorry , however i cant understand if you are homeless and in a bad financial situation , how can u be on the net , how can you waste this money , i am sure if you are in that bad a situation it would be areal waste of money , so ,save the money , go to some church , salvation Army and lot of institutes for the poor and homeless are also there.

Please try to cut down your unnecessary expenditure , which is browsing at this moment and try to meet the other needs of your life.

All the best and please be focused in what you do.

Where do you live? If in the US then look up the local United Way. They have many many programs that can help you. There are temporary housing programs, there are shelters, there are programs that help families find permanant homes also.

Here is a web address of United Way

http://national.unitedway.org/

At the top of the page put in your zip code. Then find the web page for your local United Way. Somewhere on there will be a link of "partner agencies." Click on that and you will find a bunch of agencies with relevent programs. Good luck

I have doubts that this is genuine, but I would rather be foolish than coldhearted. Go to a church and ask for help. Despite what these idiot atheist say, Christians do a whole lot of good in the world. most of todays benevolent charities have their roots in christian ministry.

See what harm atheist do! They have kept this poor family misinformed about help that has been available to them these past three months while they and their grandchildren were on the streets.

Charity, Welfare, various social services, Salvation Army, there are many organizations that will point you in the right direction and/or offer some kind of assistance. Since you have computer access (through a library, I assume), go to Google.com and look up various places in your area. Look in the yellow pages under "charity." And if you came for help to the "religion and spirituality" forums, I assume you attend a church. Why are they not helping you? Isn't that their job?

I know the feeling.God works through people but they can't help you unless you tell them. Please go to a church for some help. Then when you get on your feet you can repay them. They might also know someone in their congregation with apartments or a rental house that can give you a break. In the mean time I will pray for you.

If you have four grandchildren, then it is impossible you would lose the children, because they would be beyond the age of consent. Good luck and prayers in this difficult time.

You could build a house or have a friend build a house or even better sign up for Home Improvement with Ty Pennington! If you're desparate enough, they will...........hey, wait a minute, if you are homeless, how do you have a computer?????????
