if you don't believe in Him, why do you ask questions that are mostly ignorant and you deliberatly provoke christians? Is your life that empty? And don't say because you can. I'm not even interested in that.

Get over it...

Welcome to living in a democracy, where it matters what others think.

(BTW, micber is right that I also want to learn more about the Bible - I DO admit it).

Because I can.

You said: , why do you ask questions that are mostly ignorant and you deliberatly provoke christians

I don't provoke christians, I simply ask questions, like if there's evidence or not?

How do you know that for sure, some people are simply questioning the bible, I, myself, have questioned it many times becuase it simply doesn't makes sense.

Where's the evidence?
Where's the evidence that this all actually happened?
Where's the evidence that Adam and Eve existed?
Where is the evidence that showed that jesus acutally cured people?
Where is the evidence that the battles that are in the book actually happened?
How the hell could Noah make a boat that holds 2 of every animal, Where's the evidence that it could even happen?
What's if it's all fake?
What's if it isn't a him, rather a her?
How do you know?

WHERE'S THE EVIDENCE?

I question it because there's no evidence.

You tell me.

Your question proves a point I've been making for many years now. Christians are the most conceited religious group on the planet. They feel that ONLY they can be right, despite being the most recent major religious movement in world history. Take a look at the Book of Daniel (it's in the Old Testament), Chapter 2. There is a dream that Daniel is asked to interpret - about a statue made of many different materials. The interpretation given is of several kingdoms, in succession, each being lesser than the one before it. Might this also apply to religions?

My intent here is to provoke Christians - to think. The only real problem with Christianity is the sheer number of people who adhere to it's teachings without thinking about them. Christianity has existed for about 2000 years - and in that time more death and destruction has been waged IN THE NAME OF FAITH, than all other human causes combined. I ask you - is it really possible that two philosophies that claim to both serve the same God, and rely upon the same Savior, can be so different as to justify WAR?

I do not have an empty life. It is very full, of reading. I study all religious teachings, including the Christian apochrypha. The one overriding teaching I've found is LOVE, which war and hate are contradictory to. If a Christian really wants to impress me with his beliefs, he/she should stop quoting the Bible and start practicing love.

Because I can.

Why is it ignorant to question something that is not very clear even to Religious Scholars.
That's our human rights to question anything we don't understand or have any proof of even existing, unless you want to believe what the bible tells us, which is full of nonsense and stories that can't even be explained. Such as "Noah's Ark" there is no way possible that any human could build an Ark big enough to hold (2) of every animal species in the world, it would have to be the size of a whole continent not to mention the time it would have taken to build such a thing even if you could. Scientist have figured that with the building tools of the time it would have taken "thousands of years" to build such a vessel.

Why can't you except the fact that some people don't believe only because everything we're told doesn't make any sense and there is no logical explaination for what we're told or taught.

I had asked a priest one time, that if Adam & Eve had 3 sons, then where did the rest of the human race come from. His answer to me was "We don't talk about that" so if you want people to believe then you better stop teaching people things you can't explain or don't want to explain.

I am a Christian.
Everyone has a right to their opinion, some people just like to stir up debate or provoke someone, or perhaps deep down, they are really curious to know what a Christian thinks about things.
Its all good, though, because if just one person is brought to God through debate and disagreement, nothing gained, nothing lost.
You can still love the person expressing their ideas, even if their ideas are malicious or a joke.

To meme, you are a refreshing blessing for the Body of Christ.

I so agree with your response.

Believe it or not when ANY question arises or curiosity gets piqued over Christ...it means the Holy Spirit is unctioning that person or group of people to come to Our Father in Heaven; and give their lives to Christ.

Slow down Button21 you've got some maturing in the Spirit to do because you're letting man's reports get you upset. Don't let evil communication corrupt your habits, be blessed your own your J-O-B my friend. Keep up the good work!

Ignorant is making a decision on something with out being properly informed on the subject. We may seem ignorant to you because you have not researched the facts about what you believe! WE HAVE!!!! An uninformed decision...ignorance.
Wake up and get an education!

I am glad that people-unsaved,lost,confused ask questions. how else are they to know? yes some are way out there beyond answering but some are good questions. As christians we should not argue. we need to learn to control the anger that lurks inside from the frustration of the lost. If you cant control then dont answer dont respond. What would Jesus do? is what we should ask ourselves. God says to ask, seek, and you shall find. Let yourself be used by God and maybe what they need was sought in your christian knowledge or experience.

At least they are talking about God. Fortunately God is not as easily provoked as we are, or else we would have been wiped from the face of the Earth sometime soon after we were created.

Your comments and questions might provoke me, too. You still have the right to speak, and I like living in a country where people have that right.

Get over being a baby.

oh let them ask- because somewhere deep inside they are having a battle with them self's they are just to afraid to make a stand on way or the other -- and they dint know that which ever why they go no one is going to judge them - if they decide not to believe in god as christian we would have to forgive them and let our life be and example -- if they decide to become christian the non believers would pass by the way side
