Gnostics were the group of gentiles that followed the teachings of Jesus until Emporor Constitine commissioned the New Testament to be compiled from all the writings about Jesus. The commission then burned the rejected writings and killed those who refused to follow his version. What ensued is what we now call the dark ages. Strangly the Dead Sea Scrolls do not follow much of the current idiologies which means the scrolls were probably hidden by a Gnostic. Oddly that Constitine was a flaming Gay causes one to wonder why he even bothered except to control the masses with the most watered down versions of what Jesus taught.

The original christians are us, Palestinian christians.
After more than two thousand years, Christian families are still living, witnessing, & worshiping in the land where Jesus Christ was born, lived, died, & was resurrected. We are NOT immigrants. We are NOT converts from Judaism or Islam. We are the descendents of the original indigenous Christians who first believed in our Lord Jesus Christ. We live in Nazareth, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jerusalem, & other places in the Biblical Palestine, Israel, & Jordan. We are Arab Palestinian Christians (Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, & others). Together, we comprise the MOTHER CHURCH, the Church of Jerusalem. Zion remains the Mother of All the Churches, & Urushalim the Holy City.
Have you ever wondered what happened to the descendants of the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ and the descendants of other Jews, Arabs, Canaanites, Greeks, Philistines, Romans, and Samaritansã»who accepted the Messiah when He was with them in the flesh? Today, their direct descendants number around a million. These are the Palestinian Christians who still maintain the faith and tradition.

Acts Chapter 11The Church in Antioch of Syria
19 Meanwhile, the believers who had fled from Jerusalem during the persecution after Stephen's death traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch of Syria. They preached the Good News, but only to Jews. 20 However, some of the believers who went to Antioch from Cyprus and Cyrene began preaching to Gentiles* about the Lord Jesus. 21 The power of the Lord was upon them, and large numbers of these Gentiles believed and turned to the Lord.
22 When the church at Jerusalem heard what had happened, they sent Barnabas to Antioch. 23 When he arrived and saw this proof of God's favor, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord. 24 Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and strong in faith. And large numbers of people were brought to the Lord.
25 Then Barnabas went on to Tarsus to find Saul. 26 When he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. Both of them stayed there with the church for a full year, teaching great numbers of people. (It was there at Antioch that the believers* were first called Christians.)

JESUS taught us how to live our life the rest that came after Him is trying to make the rules...
Matthew 24:4-14:
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
it's anyone who belives in Jesus and nothing else are the true christians...
