Since these dogs are total opposites in living requirements you should consider which one will match your style of living the most. Huskies are high energy dogs that need tons of coat care and exercise. If they get loose they are known for causing property damage for people who own other outside animals like rabbits, pidgeons, or fish. Pugs are more laid back than Huskies and you don't want them getting over exerted, it can kill them. So a slow easy lifestyle is best for the pug. Neither dog really loves the heat either. Look up online care sheets for both dogs and see which ones work best for how you live. Pugs are good for at home and don't need extra exercise and Huskies need room to move and run.

Depends on where you live and the size of your yard and how often you can excercise the dog. If you live in an area where it gets very hot during the summer or all year round, don't get a husky because they have a very thick coat. If you have a small yard get a pug, huskies are large breed working dogs and need a lot of room to run around. And if you can't walk or exercise the dog a lot then get a pug because huskies need a lot of excercise because they are a working breed. If the conditions are oopisite that of what i just said then i say get a husky, they are beautiful dogs and very intelligent.

It depends on where you're living Huskies are a large breed and require a good amount of room. Pugs on the other hand don't need as much space as a husky. But its up to you.

Wow why a toss up between those two?

If you have a yard and fence and can allow your Husky outside almost all day during nice weather (they want to be out) and you like to walk, cause they need exercise, I'd go with the Husky.

I have a Pug, he likes the outside but doesn't need much exercise. They are very ruff n tuff dogs, not at all wimpy like some think. We also have a lab and they wrestle it's very gentle but funny to watch. If you are not wanting a challenge go with a Pug!

These are two very different breeds of dogs with different needs.
A husky is going to be much higher maintenance as a working pack animal than a pug. It will require a large SECURE yard, a very consistant obedience training routine, and daily exercise for its entire life to keep its temperment good and distructive behaviour down. The constant shedding and bi-yearly undercoat blowing require someone who is willing to live with doghair as a constant in their life and household. They cannot be off leash, nor around smaller animals like cats/rodents/rabbits due to high prey drive.

I don't have any expertise with pugs, but they don't look like they take that much work with short hair, short legs and small bodies.

pugs have more health problems then huskies do. huskies are very good at getting out of any kind of yard rather be privacy or chain link. huskies are a whole lot nicer that most pugs.

I have a pug...The Great Kabuki...he is awesome. He is only about a year and 3 months. He is still very active for a puppy, but he is hilarious and the cutest most loving dog I've ever had. He loves everybody and other dogs too. And he is smart...sometimes a little bit stubborn, but that's just part of his personality. And talk about attention...everytime we go to the park, everybody has to stop and pet him and ask about him. I don't know much about Huskies, but they are awesome too. I guess it depends if you want a smaller or bigger dog. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but get one of each so they won't be alone. Good luck!

Both are cute...but lets see what you want....Huskies are very loyal and BEAUTIFUL dogs...but they tend to shed a lot. An alternative is an Alaskan Malamute. Pugs are great companion animals as well...but tend to have more skin and respiratory problems. I'd Take the husky.

You have to make the final decision on that.. I love both of them.. they are cute.. a pug is a small guy and a husky is a little larger... both are adorable animals
