More to the point, the light from the galaxies and stars we see today took millions, even trillions, of years to reach Earth. Did God create them eons ago just so we could look at the sky today and go, "OOoooo, pretty lights!" ? That kinda puts a damper on that silly 6-day creation idea. Why people still believe such superstition is beyond me.
I see that David C needs to learn a little about astronomy. The Internet is full of information, dear. Please use it.

What we see in your telescopes are still millions of years old. They are not forming today. Just the light takes that long to get to us today. Besides where does it say the God ever stopped fully creating the universe. Where does it say he stopped creating life on Earth.
Then He turned the heavens when it was smoke (41:11)
Have not those who disbelieved know that the heavens and the Earth were one connected entity, then We separated them, We made from water evey living thing (21:30)

he did those stars are not forming today they were already there we just didn't know how to make them appear. Why do people still to this day try to make God out to be a lair Satan tried back in the early day by lying to Eve by getting her to eat the fruit saying that God was lying to her and Adam that the fruit was good for them to eat and that nothing would happen. Now here you go talking about the stars why do you want to question Gods word I know that you are not a saved person by the way you are trying to question his works but you could get to know him and also be saved. wanna give God a try

Okay, Lois, here's one for you. It is written that a man's lifetime (75 years, say) is but a blink of God's eye (well under a second). Perhaps a day in God's perception is several million years or more. Think about it.

He must have told them to keep up the good work. Now I have a question for you: If God created people back then why are people being born everyday?

because the people who believe that god made everything and nothing is really changed are the ones who do not believe in Evolution
but the truth is most believe that an entity started the universe and it is either controlled by laws or is overseen by this entity
one thing is scientifically certain, that things change and no matter what you believe they are still changing

Who says God stopped creating stars? Here, elsewhere? Why would you think he stopped?

Why not?
By the way, the universe's age (assuming it started with the Big Bang) is only in the billions, not trillions.
Heh, "only",
