Jeffrey, I could probably help you out. First of all, walking is not, absolutely NOT, going to get you anywhere near the shape you want to be. You must run, jog, swim, etc... Start off wherever you are comfortable (even the slowest jog is much better than walking), and ramp up from there.
Also, make sure you do abdominal excersize. Sit ups (not crunches, do full sit ups!), flutter kicks, etc...
Sometimes bloated, fat stomachs are caused by parasites. Do a flush, like colonics (gross I know, but it really does wonders), or something like this:
http://curezone.com/clark/parasites.asp
Then change your eating habits. Make sure you eat stuff that encourages regular, you know, BMs... like salads and fruits and such. If you slip up and eat a cheeseburger or whatever, its all good, just try your best to keep most of your diet on super health, fresh food.
Make sure you do your running at least 4 times a week, and keep up your new workout routine and diet, and you should see a difference in 2-3 weeks.

Eating a diet that stresses protein (poultry and fish are best, unless you are a vegetarian and then soy is very good), low glycemic carbohydrates (look up a glycemic index) and good fat (olive oil for cooking, almonds or peanuts for snacking), may help you to get rid of it.
If it works (and you will know in 2 weeks or less) if you start losing the weight, you may want to know more about the likely reason you got the fat there in the first place - hyperinsulinemia. For basic information on hyperinsulinemia, check out www.hufa.org.

Lifting weights will help build your chest and arms, but it won't dramatically alter your abs. Start off with a cardio exercise and stick to one don't try to do multiple exercises. Choose running, swimming, or something of the sort and keep it up at 4-5 times a week. That should help with your abs and love handles(im guessing you have?). Then once you see most of your fat is gone, then I would say you should begin sit-ups and stomach exercises.
This info comes from my own experience, but hey i'm only 13 what do I know right? =P

Follow "quickest way to lose weight" on this site and you will lose alot of it in 5 days. Some will start coming back but you can try to figure out what that stuff was. Very little of it is bodyfat since you do not lose that much bodyfat in 5 days.
This site has everything you need to know. It is mostly NOT your fault, that you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) soon surpassing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic).
You need to re-learn how to eat. Find out about fastest way to lose weight, slow ways to lose weight and anti-water. Learn everything on site below so you can understand how food and exercise affects your body. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not, and you will remain part of the biggest pandemic in all of history. Due to this pandemic, for the first time in 100 years, the children of Americans have a lower life expectancy than their parents.

watch your sugar and carbs intake, try starting out with half your body weight in grams of carbs a day. And as much as they suck... sit ups. Lifting weights is ok for toning the rest of your body but only the sit ups will help with the belly

It could be stress or drinking beer can cause it.
people that are stressed tent to have a large tummy.
I would try sit ups and see if that works. It's all in the genes.....
Plus age can play a factor.

You didn't mention your age, but as we get older, this is a problem that is hard to "fix"...The best solution is to cut back on sugar and bread......this goes straight to your middle.....and try not to eat anything late at night...especially just before going to bed.....and keep walking......you will see a big improvement.
