Vulgar, rude questions.....I understand. But I see some questions, I just think why are people so angry over that?

Yep, that's me non-caring. I'm called skinny all the time. I think that's rude, but I don't have low self esteem because of it.

It is very rude. People that are obese are humans also.
The word fat pertaining to a person is very uncouth.
Obese people sometimes have a low self esteem . Why add to the agony.
It just not nice to call a person fat.
If you have to ask this question , you must be one of those non caring people.

I am sure you will get yelled at because some people on this site really are explosive. But I believe you asked a reasonable question and thus will give you a reasonable answer. I believe that fat people are joked about, jeered at, are thought to be lazy, smelly and weak. The f word to them is FAT. As soon as they hear it, they are defensive and ready to fight. There are as many reasons why people are overweight as there are overweight people. So, ask away but be kind. They are people too.

Because so many people feel that they are overweight. Society shows us these beautiful, twig slim creatures, which most of us will never be, but wish we were, and it builds resentment. I am a fat person, by my own standards. My husband tells me I am beautiful, as do my kids, but I feel that if I lost just a little I would be somehow better.... the key for any "fat" person that reads this is love you, be proud of the person you are, and accept you. I didn't yell once huh?

i work in the healthcare field and i never had anything against obese people until now. They come in with knee pain, back pain diabetes and act helpless. When in fact they are the main cause of all their problems. Then they want to act helpless like they can' move. Moving is what gets the lbs off. sorry needed to vent

Everyone seems to have a lable for someone. We are all different. Some of us are "Short" "Tall" "Skinny""Fat" "Chunky", you name it. Everyone in there lifetime has been called something other than their name. I am tall and people will say to me, "Hey, your tall, could you get that off the top shelf for me?" And what do I do, get them what they need, because they are short, lol :)
