No, we should not call it Sonday. There are several reasons why we should not. First, but not necessarily most important, is that we worship not only the Son, but also the Father and the Holy Ghost; the Holy Trinity. So, what would you prefer to call the day now? Secondly, as others have said, the days of the week were named a millenium ago; or more. It has served us well all this time. Why go and change it all now? Can you imagine the daunting task of changing the names of the days all over the world? All the calendars, software, days on our watches...etc. I certainly hope you asked this question with tongue in cheek.

No, cause that's actually the day the pagans worship the sun and that would be an insult. Maybe you should move the sabbath back to it's original day, saturday and name that godday, or sonday, whatever.

you are wrong Sunday is Baals day the Sun god or Ra .
Saturday is the only Christian day of the week ,the day of the Sabbath.
all other days are mostly Nordic Pagan days.
Monday ,is the Day of Iris Goddess of the Moon,
wednesday is Wotan's day,Thursday is Thor ,god of Thunder,And Freya was warrior Goddess
and you be care full messing or even suggesting to steal our holy day of the Sun god ,for a Christian day

but if you really want to know ,God ,the Holy Spirit and Jesus ,are the life cycle of the sun .the Sun its death and rebirth all being one
Jesus his story was copied from Horus 6000 years earlier

a symbolic representation of the sun already in those days.
humanization by propaganda resulted in the symbolism becoming lost ,and replaced by real human characters,so in fact Jesus in reality is also the son
and Sunday is his day as well,as well as the holy spirit and God .all qualify to have Sunday as their own ,

Christians are blissfully unawares that all this time they have been worshiping Ra in disguise

God sent his Son to bring you out of darkness, so Sunday is the right day to honor the Son of God.

Point Well Taken I'll discuss this with The New World Order Organization and see if we can change the name of the days.

Jesus asked that we not worship him, all our worship should be to God. Its typically ignored because the churches group Jesus and the holy spirit into the same being as God. It doesn't make a lot of sense unless you also accept that Lucifer and Mary would also be members of such a union. For sense sake, only God should be worshiped.

well christain follow a lot of pagan believes .. so what is wrong with the christain giving credit to their pagan founders...

and you assume a lot that christain honor their relgion on the pagan day of sunday.. most christain i know, honor their sabbath on the 7th day of the week; like G-d did.. not like pagan religions did and do today..

Thursday is named after the roman (greek?) god thor, I don't think the names of the days of the week have any relevance to christians.,
