My granddaughter used my computer and she accessed window messenger. Now each time I bring my computer up, it automaticaly starts this program. I know how to shut it off for the time but how can I shut it off permanently? I do not want it to come up when I start my computer.

erase your login for messenger, and anywhere it asks should i remember your i.d. the window will still pop up, but no login should occur.

delete it from startup , click on strat go to program files open start menu than delete it from there or in the window messenger go to tool,go to option select general and remove check mark from =what ever u dont want to

Go to "start" "programs" "startup"....Find the program and right click on it and scroll down to "delete." That should take it out of your startup.

p.s. It won't delete the program...just keep it off "startup".
