well, count me in as indifferent as far as is god real. but the common argument is this:
God is real, Adam and Eve were the first people: you believe that all fossils are indeed proof of gods existence and are simply there to test your faith. you believe that cave man are non-existent and that Adam and eve gave birth to all of man.
God is real, the Adam and Eve thing is iffy though: you believe that while god is a mighty force, evolution is too logical to ignore. you believe that like everything else, cavemen evolved from simpler organisms, however you believe that god was an integral part of choosing how these organisms evolved.
God is real, the Adam and Eve story is pure fabrication: you believe that god made the amoeba that made man. That is all.
God is not real: you clearly dont believe in Adam and Eve. life sprang from an irregular electrical disturbance on a random sample of elements. Cave-men came from the cave-apes, and you feel that darwinism rulez.
your question is not a simple one, and I cannot say whether I have helped any, but those are the common arguments, for what it is worth =)

Adam and Eve became cavemen after they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden.
You can believe in God without believing in the bible stories.
The bible doesn't own God.
God may have created man through evolution.
Many religions don't use the bible as the book of truths.
esero: if one day =1000 days then using your math the dinosaurs were about 12 years before Adam and Eve. You should join the seventh day adventists. They like that kind of logic.

Adam and Eve were the first HUMANS, the cavement existed before them and the dinosarus also in like the 4 or 5 th days of the creation. 1 day to us is like 1000 to god, therefore all those creatures lived and died...dinosaurs are mentioned in the bible...read the Book of Job chapters 40-42

Contrary to popular belief, Adam and Eve may not have been the original humans. There is circumstatntial evidence to support the idea of a Pre-adamic race of man. And a careful study of the facts of scripture will bear this out. One could easily find that the idea of Pre-Adamic man isn't as strange or unscriuptural as many would have you to believe.
The short answer to your question is that the "cavemen" you mention may very well be a specimen of pre-adamic creation.

The fossils are undeniable. Furthermore, it is entirely impossible for a species to have been wholey propogated from two individuals. The resultant inbreeding of an attempt to do so, would kill off the species in only a few generations.

The biblical story of creation is a myth.
I wholeheartedly believe in God, but I decided long ago that creation was total BS.
If God NEVER lies to us, why would he give us a world that is automatically a contradiction of his words?
The bible was written by man, the universe was written by God. Choose your book.

I just asked my boyfriend this question the other night based on another question I saw in here, he's not very religious, but the best he could explain it to me is that they were around B.C. therefore noone that documented the bible was around in those times to document what happened, that's what I got out of his big fancy answer.

You seem to have an extremely stable mind's eye that has no longer something to do with advent. we've not got any point out of the two cave adult men, grotesque or no longer, or dinosaurs in Genesis. concept and hypothesis have no longer something to do with the easy certainty of what we are advised interior the 1st few pages of Genesis. we ought to constantly be careful to no longer misguide others.
