Is it a good labtop to get? If so why? If not why not?

It is a great idea. They last longer and they don't crash (that is until the virus makers start turning their attention to them but that should take a while). I've had two Macs and I love, love, love them. I haul my laptop all over and it picks up the internet everywhere. It has been through everything from 3 year olds playing Sesame Street games to grad school research. My other Mac was an older iMac and now my mother uses it. It still works great. I have Office for Mac just so I can send things to the millions of misguided people who own PCs and use Office. I also use Adobe Acrobat.
To sum up: if you want a laptop get a Mac.

i wouldn't. Apple's have a low compatibility rate with programs that you'd download off of the internet. The interface is much more complicated than windows also. There's no place to see what windows are open. I'd stick with a windows lappy.

My next computer will be an apple laptop of some kind. I have a mac mini and have never had 1 minutes trouble.

You're very smart. Apple builds very solid computers with great software features. Buy the extended warranty too and you'll be set for years.

I'm buying the Macbook Pro at the end of August. I'm psyched!
It's a great idea because they are very efficient and easy to use.

Apple is always better than Pc. More reliable, stable and industrial standard. go for it.

not if youre going to college because its hard to find things that are mac compatible and when the school gives software out to students they dont care if its compatible to your computer or not, they only make it for windows. so if youre just getting it to get it, go for it, but if you need it for school then i would think twice about it.

Yeah! Apples are amazing computers! they're so much better than PCs, and now so many programs work with them! they're amazing computers. everyone in my class has one!
