Absolutely!!! My sister Paula is my best friend and I am hers. We didn't use to be able to stand one another. Now she truly has my back and looks out for me and I as I always have do the same for her. And by the way, don't tell my other 5 sisters and 3 brothers!

HI, I think so. My twin brother and me as children were best friends. However, once we became teenagers, are friendship decreased a bit. Family members tend to be closest, they know everything about you and are accepting of you so they can easily become best friends. Additionally, you don't have to impress your siblings as people would have to gain admiration to get a best friend.

yes... a best friend is some one who is always there for you some one that cares and some one that knows what goes on in you life so in that case a immediate family member can qualify

Yes, Ofcourse...! when you said best friend i think there are no qualifications neede because if you really treats him as your friend you would probably accepts him for what\who she/he is. Sometimes both of you dont even noticed that your really are bestfriends....you just noticed your always confessing him your secrets and problems...even the simplest one!

Sure than can, my daughter is my best friend, I can tell her anything and she can tell me anything and we enjoying doing stuff together all the time. I'm 49 and she is 22.

My sister.
I recently lost part of my vision due to diabetes causing me to not be able to drive and she has been there to take me to dr appts and grocery.She has become my "right hand man".
