"dat" or spell things wrong on purpose? i dont mind substituting numbers or shortening 2 1 letter or shortening words like "whtvr" but ppl spell wrong on purpose does it drive u as nuts as it drives me????

yeah, T Y, about the ThiS KiNda StUff i agree completely!!
they spell things like "something" "sumtang" or whtvr. i don't mind shorthand, but geez, learn 2 spell ppl!!

ugh... me too... I cannot stand shorthand or abbreviations. I mean sometimes, it's necessary. Also can't stand... ThIs KiNdA sTuFf, drives me crazy and makes me think that the person is lacking intelligence.

no not rrly technically dat is shorter than that so ppl tent oto use the shortened versions xpecially when they are iming ppl :)

Because they are following what our society says is okay. People are sheep and those who use the shorter words sound illiterate as well.

i dunno... doesn't bother me none. I guess some people just like to spell it the way it sounds when it comes out of their own mouths. It gives them a sense of uniqueness. And it helps personalize writing/typing. It gives the reader a better understanding of what the writer is like.
