Some (not all) girls think that when they get a man that may be flawed, it is possible to change them. But when they realize they can't, they get hurt. And then they get angry for no reason. Women, why is this?

Because some women think they can get what they want out of life by being overbearing... and that applies to relationships with men too. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy to be a woman and embrace my femininity. But I just don't think that's the best way to approach a man.

Also, though they may deny it, those women's husbands/boyfriends often leave them in the end... or wind up cheating on them with someone who "understands" and "respects" a man.

So first of all, I think a woman should choose a guy who she doesn't see TOO many things she'll have an issue with in the first place. You can't change someone. People only change if *they* want to.

Second of all, she should choose her battles. I have found that showing genuine respect and love gets a guy to do a lot more of what I want him to do than acting like a ***** does. That won't apply to EVERY guy; but if he loves me it does. And if not, my suggestion to women would be "move on."

That's my .02

I suppose, when a girl really cares for a guy she wants him to be perfect in everyway. So where she sees flaws, she tries to change them according to her likings. But when a guy doesn't change, it makes her feel as if he doesn't care enough for her to change a little, or that he might not be the one for her. She may not want to accept it. Although if she really cares for a guy enough then she should be able to accept him no matter his flaws.

you know that is the situation i am in right now...i will be honest with you...the reason i do it is because i know that this guy can be a better person and i know he has a lot of potential in him to be a kind loving type of guy...but he chooses to be selfish and only think of himself...but on top of all that i get angry with him because he is stubborn and i really like him if only he would just stop being that way things would be alright...ya know....that is just my opinion...

I really don't think you can change anybody because the only person who can change that person is THEMSELVES. I don't think women think they can, I think it's more like they are trying to support them into making them a better person. It's like if they are unsatified with who they are with then they shouldn't be with them any longer rather than changing them.

I think it's because they think their irresistible. They try making the guy fall in love with them and then they think he'll do anything for them, which isn't reality!
