Some comfort for you..... No matter how amazing life is here, it is nothing compared to how wonderfuly awesome heaven will be.
My christian friend believes Dejavu is God way of telling you that your in the right place at the right time. And dreaming you will die doesn't mean anything. My mom dreamt for years she was shot to death, and she's still here.
And what scares you more, being dead, or how you will die? Im not afraid of being dead, I know heaven is more than I can ever imagine, but I am afraid of how and when I will die. For that, I give it to God, trusting his perfect plan for my life, and his will, is better than my own, and with trust comes comfort. Good Luck to you.

Well you must be pretty old if you think like that. I can't tell you why you shouldn't be afraid of death but I'll tell you why I'm not. I can't control it, I don't know when it's going to come but it will come some day or another. I rather live life not caring about something like death because if you do what's the point of living?? If you dwell on it all the time you're taking life away from yourself and causing alot of stress and anxiety to yourself which is not good for your body. There's no way you can stop it, pray, cry, stay at home, it will still take its course. How can you be scared to die, what is it about it, is it the pain that MAY come with it or the fact that you don't know what's after this life? Either way think of it like this, it's better to live normally and just ignore the idea of dying, than live worrying about it and expecting it to come every minute of the day. Also if you're Christian like you say you are, in the Bible it's said that we can SPEAK THINGS INTO EXISTENCE. So maybe it would be a better idea not to speak about it so much.

Don't tell her what to believe in, that's why it's based on FAITH. Also don't speak on Christianity as a WHOLE, every church is different, Christianity has many different roots and teachings, if fear is what you get from it that's you're problem not the entire belief system. There no 1 church that is Christian, it's a part of the tree. However you take it differs from person to person, just don't use Christianity as the scapegoat you are looking for.

I went through something similar to this a couple months back. Three nights in a row I dreamed someone was trying to kill me, and I thought maybe it was a sign. I had this large sense of impending doom. I'm a Christian as well- in fact, my dad's a minister and he said it wasn't really a big deal, just pray about it. I went so far as to get a Freudian dream analysis book at the library, thinking maybe my subconscious was trying to tell me something. That turned out to be a waste of time. Basically, what I can tell you is this: The impending doom will pass. You are not going to die anytime soon simply because you think you might, although you could stress yourself into health problems. You will not die because you had a nightmare in which you did. Dejavu happens, but it doesn't make you a prophet, and it doesn't mean your dreams are accurate depictions of reality. You're a Christian. It's entirely possible that a certain force that doesn't like that aspect of your personality is messing with you. Just pray about it, pray to be calm, pray for God's will, and remember that even if you died tomorrow, you still have today to live. Even if it's the only one you have, it's still there to use, so why not?

Ok, first of all, why worry? We are all going to die...If you're a good person that's all that matters in life, just enjoy your life....going to church isn't going to make you a better person, committing sins and then asking for forgiveness consistently isn't the right way to go either. A lot of Christians commit sins then, they're like, oh, but I'm gonna go to church anyway and the priest will forgive me. No, just don't sin in the first place.
Just because you go to church, doesn't mean you're gonna be saved....its what you do in life that makes a difference. You could be a bad person and go to church and you are still going to hell...that´s just an example. Just don´t let the church brain wash you so much... If you´re a good person you don´t have to worry about going to church, what others may think, cause you are confident that if there is a god, at least what you did in life was right.

I can relate to your feelings, as I have been there myself. I can only tell you for something to preoccupy your mind so much, there must be some reason why. Perhaps there are unresolved problems in your life. Fearing death does not mean you have lost your faith. If you have a tremendous amount of anxiety, perhaps counseling might be a good option for you.
Although some dreams may be prophetic, it does not mean that all dreams are. After a tramautic time in my life, I became petrified of dying and had many dreams about being murdered, but none of them have come true.
Find peace within yourself-whether it be through your religious beliefs, scientific help or community service. Sometimes all we can do is accept the inevitable and hope we have lived a life worthy of the chance we have been given to live.

The answer to this unfortunately means a whoel bunch of work on your part.
You have to change your thoughts about dying into something more constructive so you can focus on all the good things in life. God did not mean for us to waste our days worrying.
Deja vu is a common occurence and nothing to be scared of. A nightmare is just a nightmare, but if you always look for similarities in your everyday life, you will always find them. The human mind is a pattern spotter and you have trained it to find things that relate to worrysome situations. You have to break the pattern.
When I have a fear of worry, I have learned that the quickest way to beat it is confront it. I don't mean you should do anything life-threatening of course, but maybe do something that scares you to make you feel the wonder and beauty and thrill of God's gift of life. Go whitewater rafting (with professionals) or take a bungee jump (at a safe jump site)! Do something that will make you see that death can make you think either way. It can paralyse you, or it can make you cherish every moment even more, and make you feel so alive that you will wonder what you ever worried about before.
Good Luck!

First... feel good that you are saved, and know that when you die, which wouldn't be soon I'm sure, you will go to heaven. Then, maybe it might help if you talked to some VERY VERY old people, those who have lived a long life, and who are nearing their time. They may help you understand that death isn't anything to fear. Talk to someone at your church. I'm sure they will understand, and they may be able to help you understand death better. You seem like a young person with a lot to live for. I want you to be able to enjoy your life, and not dread death :-(
As far dying in your dreams, don't worry, it won't mean you'll die when you wake up. I've died a lot of times in my dreams over the years, and I'm still here.

when you get on a roller coaster do you worry about the end of the ride or do you just think about enjoying the ride ? since you are going to be dead a very long time why think about that aspect of it ? take a deep breath , look around , the world is not going to come to a grinding halt . people are going about their business living their lives. stop worrying. since you cannot control the road ahead of you why not live each day to your fullest ? be happy , hold your head high, think of all the great sounds , smells , sights and sensations around you. life is what you make of it and if you are miserable your life will be miserable. If you are happy , people will want to be around you. Personally , I think you have way way too much religious stuff thats been pounded into you. you worry too much and your parents are probably very strict and have been hammering you with rules and orders.Religion is a helper, a way to guide us thru life and a way to mold how we see the road ahead and which roads to take. You have taken religion and turned it into a wheel chair and you have strapped yourself into it and are worried that the wheels might actually turn.
Lighten up !! you have years and years ahead of you.....enjoy living !!

Don't be anxious or afraid of dying. After all, what is so bad about going to heaven to be with the one you've dedicated your life to?
If you still feel afriad, pray about it. Pray that God will take away the fear, and that you'll be able to live a long and healthy life! There is nothing wrong with praying earnestly that God will take it away. And I if you truly believe that God can actually take it away...he will!
I hope this helps.

your problem is your religion. It causes fear. I am an ex christian and know what you are going through. as for christianity there isnt much i can say except:
Do not believe something simply because you have heard it. Do not believe anything simply because it has been handed down for many generations. Do not believe anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe anything simply because it is written in Holy Scriptures. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of teachers, elders, or wise men. Believe only after careful observation and analysis, when you find that it agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all. Then accept it, and live up to it.
