Last time when I am on line with someone, I can see him typing a reply but now I can't. But he can still see mine And now I also notice that 2 persons(yahoo messenger) sign in and out, I don't get the alert and sound. I know I have not changed any settings at all. Or is it that they change theirs? If this is so, will someone advise me on how to get back the 'typing notification and alert/sound of the people on my contact list"
I have gone through all the privacy options. There's no indication on the writing issue. Someone from US told me that my friends' version may be an old one. Anyway I am vey blur about the version stuff, am incompetent in all this. Please guide me. Forget to mention, when am in Hotmail messenger, I can see everything that is mentioned above. Help! Help! What's happening? I need to know!

Try looking back threw your privacy settings and go threw everything, also there are times that yahoo Msgr messes up and when I am talking with my friends it happens to me as well.
It really shouldn't have anything to do wither or not someone has the old Msgr or not.

That has happened to me too on msn messenger and aim... all in the past 2 days. I don't know what it is, but my friend downloaded a new aim and it worked... as far as the msn goes, I dont know why that happened. Good luck.
