How do we know that god is real, where is physical proof/ evidence besides so-called miracles?

I mean no offence i am just curous. How do we really know god is real?

True believers with strong faith dont need and more importantly dont care. If they did they would research the origins and find that they are just a collection of fairy tales, myths and other assorted crap.

Currently, there is no verifiable proof, per se, although if you are familiar with the Baha'i faith, the writings say that science will one day prove the existance of God.

I suspect the answer lies somewhere in the field of quantum physics.

I must add in here, that much of what science knows is theory and not proven yet. The same can be said for religion, in a way. There is a theory which has not been proven to the satisfaction of the scientific community. This does not make it right or wrong, it just means it has not been proven yet.

People used to think that scientists were crazy. They believed germs could not exist because they could not see them. The fact that we have not been able to see God does not mean He does not exist. There is much about life and the universe that is still unknown, and perhaps spirituality is one of them.

Seek the truth on your own. No one can truly answer this for you.

Just as I expected, before I even looked at the responses you received, I knew the number one answer would be "faith". These people use "faith" because they have no other reason to believe. There is no proof, there's just theory. "Miracles" are simply the refusal to believe that coincidence, luck or knowledge can super cede. Like when a doctor is successful in removing a cancerous tumor said to be fatal. Its always claimed to be a miracle rather than the experience, education and perseverance of the doctor. Its sad really. So many people forget to credit those who are truly responsible.

If I were to say, it is because you do not have enough faith... that is a fallacy, a self-sealing argument.

By physical proof, I'm sure you mean scientific proof. Science, contrary to what many contemporary scientists say, is limited only to the observable world, and can say nothing about spiritual and metaphysical things. Science can support belief in God, or contradict it, but it can NEVER prove or disprove the existence of God.

So why do I believe in a God that I haven't seen or "observed"? God has revealed himself in two ways, through his word (the Bible), and through creation (the universe). You can see God in his creation, and see him by learning more about him through the bible.

The question is if God is not real then what is? Scientists believe we evolved but that is just a theory there is no absolute proof for anything in life so we believe without basis nothing in life is certain but death what will happen to you when you die do you cease to exist or is there something else the only true proof lies in death but if you die what will become of your soul.

All things that we take for granted on a daily basis! The air we breath, the trees, grass, the sun and moon...etc...all these beautiful things didn't just come to b they...as I am sure u know, they were created! By whom...God...have of a mustard seed! I really don't believe in it. All those people saying their faith and proof from the bible are actually man made evidence to brain washed people to believe in it so that they can collect money of them suckers everyday, weeks, months and years to come. I just believe everything on this globe including human beings are naturally formed millions or billions years ago. Any gods are man made to let people have their own faith in life to decide wrong and right ( you certainly and eventually learn as you grow up, all you need is self esteem ),to eliminate their fears of life.

Most of us choose to have faith in the existence of a deity/supernatural power, and there is nothing wrong with that, they chose religion. And some of us say that since we have no solid proof, he does not exist, there is nothing wrong with that, and they are called atheists. And even fewer say that because we have no proof for, or against the existence of a god, we live in a state of doubt, not knowing the truth, and they choose to not worry so much about it and accept it, and they are called agnostics.

you do not know he is real only faith is the answer by all religions.there is no proof of jesus moses abraham john the baptist only records are in the bible which is not a referance book .MANY people takeit as fact when it is a complete work of fiction. NICE story but after all we have come to learn it is just that a story.NO supporting evidence exsists to support jesus life except the bible .NOT one mention in recorded history of any thing he did or records of the day mentioning him at all .they included other historical figures but they did exsist and no record of jesus or john the baptist altough there is some mention of --------nothing thats right no mention anywhere of any biblical person at all it would be like trying to find proof of aliens landing on earth some people have faith that there are aliens but i do not or a biblical interpitation of god .

The Bible has been substantiated in many areas, such as archeology that supports what the Bible says, science, etc.

If you see that the Bible is accurate on things we can measure, then we can trust that what it says about things we can not measure is also accurate.

There is so much more that I can not delve into in this small space, but there is legitimate scientific proof that the Bible was designed by an infinite mind of someone who lives outside the frame of time as we know it.

It's a Leap of faith. You must choose to either believe or disbelieve. If you need hard physical proof. Then you'll never know God because there isn't. You must Choose to believe that there is a God and see his work in all that exists around you.
