Wow, you're amazing. I get the same thing...I was starting to think I was a freak or something!! I used to cry whenever my brothers bought them...whenever we have one in the house, I usually try to sneak it someplace where it can just deflate...they really just horrify me too. I feel your pain!!!

My neice does. What it is; sounds like a baloon popping (actually it is tearing open), of which quickly reach high decibles, your mind amplifies a lot higher than most people hear. So the sound is a lot more scarry. Causes real fear. Everyone has different fears. Mine is heights. Put me up something high, like a lighthouse, when I walk to the door at the top, to walk around the balcony, I cannot push myself out the door. I am literallly frozen with fear.
And I am a bodybuilder, 6'2", 274 pounds.

curiously, I,m afraid to be round balloons Iam petrified of the unpredicted pop that could want to take position. You not in any respect comprehend even as that could want to ensue and startle you, its really the part of wonder. I wasn,t very prevalent at activities even as i became youthful and that i,m 40 5 in the present day. I keep in recommendations I attended a social gathering even as i became 10 years old and they performed a interest that required putting a balloon inbetween your back and your companions and the first one to bust their balloon gained a fantastic prize. my spouse i became teamed up with became very indignant with me because I wouldn,t take section. for sure I left the social gathering early. its that unpredictable startle of the pop, which will properly be loud. no longer something unusual about no longer liking that. Do firecrackers and fireworks try this to you also? It does me. Your no longer on my own.

Me too! I was sleeping over at my friend's house the other night and she would blow up a balloon and then pop it and she won't stop. I covered my ears every time and thought that was funny. Finally she stopped and I was so relived!

I'm 52 and still afraid of ballons when they pop. I hate to have to blow them up for fear of them popping. Its natural I guess. Some people don't like loud noises.
