I am a "real" guy. I'm 28, MBA educated, have a great career, my own home, financially stable, successful, athletic, in good shape, no kids, blah, blah, blah...is that the kinda real guy you are talking about? If so? Here is my answer...bit lengthy, but 100% 4 REAL!
1. That she has life goals/direction...and I agree/respect/am compatible with her life goals and direction (same for her with me)
2. Intelligent, educated (whether it be worldly, standardized or both)
3. Responsible in all aspects of life: relationships, financially, health, etc.
4. Inner Happiness: meaning: she is not basing her happiness on me...she is happy when I met her due to the decisions she has made in her life, her career, her friends, family, etc. I would just add to that
5. She would want me, rather than need me: meaning, she is happy before me, has friends, a good relationship with her family, financially stable, has a career, isnt looking for someone to just marry and have kids with, etc. She would be mentally stable and have her priorities in order...not just want me out of selfishness to fulfill what she thinks she wants out of life.
6. *She has to have a positive mental attitude, caring, loving, accepting, good personality, independent, etc. I put a * in front of it, because I think that all of these things would be a given if the person matched my above criteria.
7. Obviously, you can not marry someone that you are not attracted to. Women, by nature, are gorgeous. If a girl respects herself, is healthy, lives positively, etc....then, more than likely, she will be attractive to me. I don't need a supermodel. I don't care for these girls that are ridiculously skinny, matter of fact...I don't much like it. If you must know, I notice hair first. I don't care the color, as long as it is a natural color (not like purple or green or whatever). I prefer longer than shorter, but if it is a self respecting hair style, I doubt it would matter. Curly or straight...whatever. Tall or shirt girls...doesnt matter...I guess I wouldnt want a girl taller than me (I am 6'2")...is that too much to ask? Bust size makes no difference to me at all, neither does eye color, neither does skin tone. People that respect themselves and are healthy are typically attractive, I assume. I haven't been proved wrong yet.
8. She has to love my parents, grandparents and dog. She has to treat them with respect, because they will all, even the dog, treat her like she is a queen!

As a guy I wanted a girl who was smart and fun. Looks never got in the way. As long as we could talk about anything and enjoy things together that is a real woman. You can put the model in the bottle if she isn't fun. I real woman has a a great smile and brain to match. I just look for the smile the fun and someone I can talk to a real woman.

ok. i'm qualified for this one. At least last time I looked I was. Let's say I was on a first date. This is the date where I'm first of all, getting a good look at you. I'm assesing if you came dressed in a reasonable manner for the activity. Most of the time it will be a nice dinner somewhere, So I see if your hair was done of if you look like you just tangled with a leaf blower and lost. Did you take time to do the make up thing, or a bit of lipstick in the car and call it good? Dressed prpoerly for a dinner date or dressed like you are going saturday mall hopping with your friends? All of this shows me you are trying to be respectful. I watch to see if you smile, I count times you make eye contact. I listen to responses to questions, See if you listen to what I say when you ask something. Did you like what you ordered or did you try to be a cheap date? But all of this is make it or break it time. Did you expect me to open doors for you? (yes I'm a bit old fashioned), Or are you a do-it-yourselfer? But overall, rwespect is what I look for. I've had some real winners show up for a date before and I've seen some real class acts I couldn't touch as well.
Overall, I want someone that would be willing to be a partner in life, share the adventures, share the joys and struggles. Share the dreams and nightmares come true. Laugh with me, cry with me, love with me. be part of my life, not just some outsider trying to get in. But under it all..... respect, respect, respect.

she has to smart, funny, loyal, and has to have beautiful eyes and have a half decent body and long hair, i hate short hair
