If you grew up under the exact same conditions as Hitler who's to say you won't end up the same way? He grew up in a country that furiously hated the Jews. So what I'm getting at is that we're all the same: we're victims to causality, and destiny is beyond our control. And as a precursor to that, if Hell exist we are destined for Hell before we are even born...What good is it to repent when you know not how you've wronged?

How is being raised to hate Jews an option of freewill? Society has total control over the first few impressionable years, decades of our lives.

We are predestined morons! Why are you Christian? Because you were raised to be Christian! (I assume.)

Well countless people in history have justified murder, convinced themselves it was God's will. Terrorists, KKK, Nazis...they were all f*ked up in the head, but they still believed they were doing the right thing.

Don't even try to flip this one on me. I'm not trying to justify what "evil" men do but explain they were helpless in finding the right path in life. Those guys can rot jail, whatever, but Hell is such a load of fairy tale, and people need to learn we're all the same.

Sounds like you've got it all worked out for everyone. But why stop there? Why not just legalize everything and let people do as they please? Why not say the whole world can go hang and not help anyone? Why not just refuse to work for our income and steal from others? It all sounds real good when you say things like that, but putting it into practice is another basket of eggs. I am so sick and tired of people blaming the society they live in, their parents treatment of them, or even the fact they have had a hard life of any kind on their own bad behavior. I know that we are not all the same and am glad for it, I would not like to have the attitude you do. It seems to me that you are justifying something in your own mind and not really making a valid point. I don't know if I answered your question or not, but I do feel a lot better. I wonder if your attitude would still be the same if you had been one of the prisoners in the German Prison Camps when Hitler was just behaving the way society expected him to behave? It is a lot harder to stand against the normal way of thinking when you know it's wrong, but it is far nobler!

Test the theory.
Do you know examples of people, say brothers or sisters who, on being raised in roughly identical circumstances, did or did not grow up with identical viewpoints?
Or people from the same towns?
Obviously, thousands of people grew op in under the same conditions as adolph, yet only one rose to become Hitler the ruler.
to pose the question as such is to suggest ones do not have their own power.
Try this; as you go about your days pick out something you usually do, and don't do it. If you can decide when to do and not do something, it follows that you, and everyone else actually has free will. But, if there are no actions you have that you have control over, then your theory might have substance.
For your first test: I suggest thinking of a better question.
Then submit it.
Then, stop yourself from posing a question that simply lacks thoughtfulness and substance.

No we are not like Hitler. He was a mad man and a genies. I in no way can understand why he could do that to other people. In high school I did a paper on him and I can see why he want crazy, but that doesn't mean I am in anyway like him.

I understand what your saying, but you are only looking at one man who want though all that. There was whole county there and thought out time there where many other ppl that hard life then him. And they in no way did anything as horrible as Hitler.

So again no we are not and thank your lucky stars for that much. Because if we were everyone would be killing each other over race and religion and sex still. Though this is true in some please still for the most part the world has grown to see you have to except ppl as they are as a whole.

The good of repenting is not in the word itself but in what you do to repent. If you know you hurt someone then you should do everything you can to help them and if you can't help them, help someone else. It isn't something you should do in fear of Hell or in order to go to Heaven; it is something you do to make yourself feel better and to make this world a little bit of a better place. I'm not saying that I wouldn't end up being Hitler... but maybe he wouldn't have needlessly killed so many people if he could have learned to take responsibility for his actions. Think about it... he blamed the Jews for his mistakes because he wasn't man enough to admit that he screwed up. Then when all his plans go to Hell, he killed himself rather that face what he did. It's not a hate issue... it's a responsibility issue.

God gave us all free will, Hitler included. He could've stayed true to self and not been blinded by predjudice, but he chose to blame others for the mistakes in his life. Destiny is in your control. God or Luck has nothing to do with it. Your action today affects the response tomorrow, next week, next year, next decade...... only those blind to the ripple of their choice dare use Destiny as a scapegoat. And Hell? Does an eternal flame scare you into good deeds? Then burn in it, for only the goodness of heart, the willingness to choose how your life is lived is Holy. Let others determine your fate and you are lost.

Well just because Hitler lived in a country that hated Jews doesnt mean he had to. He had his own mind and made the choices that he did. And it doesnt make since when you said "What good is it to repent when you know not how you've wronged?" When you sin you know you are sinning. When you repent you are asking for forgiveness. Just because his country was prejudice doesnt mean he had to be. He couldve asked for forgiveness for his country. He couldve went to church and prayed that his life would change. But he didnt. He made his desicions and he had to live with the choices he made until he commited suicide.

I don't think my mustache would ever be as great as his even if we had been neighbors!!!

And speaking of his neighbors...I don't believe any of them are known for being a mass murdering narcissistic evil maniacal genius!!!

At times environment does play a major role in character traits, however can we really determine that all of humanity would be destined to slaughter just because they are raised by hate???

Very provocative!!! I will continue to ponder!!!

No ones distined to hell God loves you
And He said Matthew 24:4-14:

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The Bible tells you when you are wrong (aka thou shalt not kill). We are not pre-destined. I know it sounds weird because I struggle with this as well. God gives us free will but He knows what we will do. He doesn't sit up there and say "You are going to Hell before you are born". He sits up there and knows what you would choose before you are born.
