Two separate issues. Love is an emotion based on hormones and attraction. Trust is probably what you wanted to start with. Make sure that the person you tell it to understands what Love is, and what to do with it. A commitment takes trust, but not necessarily love. It just helps the medicine go down.

For me it goes hand in hand because if you lack trust on someone even you love them you will be paranoid every time they are not beside you. You will think of things that maybe he is doing and that will create a problem and love can be hurt by that and it would fade in time

Trust is a large part of it. I would say yes if you're talking about romantic love.
There are other types of love. I love my son, but I don't trust him. By love, I mean I want what is best for him, which means I need to keep my BS detector cranked up high, so he will (hopefully) learn that lying doesn't work.

Love is chemical. In the brain.
Trust is EARNED by years of proving to each other that you will not turn against them or do things to hurt them.
My wife has the personality of Mulder from X-Files. Her motto is "trust no-one!" But we love each other, so trust will just have to be something we will never achieve.

Love is how you feel about someone; trust is how you feel about what they do. You can love but not trust, and you can trust but not love. Love and trust together is the ultimate.

Love and trust would really be wonderful together. But you can love someone with out trusting them. Trust is earned. Sometimes we love someone who has betrayed us over and over again.

Yes of course! love is built on trust, trust on love. You cant have one without the other period! If you say that you love someone without trusting them compleatly, you dont mean it.

i believe love and trust go hand in hand because it is impossible to love someone that you can not trust.

Romantic love and all it's implications require implicit, unquestioning trust. To truly love someone, you must set them above yourself, see that they are more important to you than you yourself are. This requires you to put your very life into their hands.
