"My god can beat up your god, nyah-nyah-nyah." It's ridiculous, but tragically true.

=) It's funny that u put it that way...but i guess it's pretty much true. Yes, they are practically killing each other to prove who's God's better. I think its stupid..I believe that God is one. There are only different prophets that God sends to teach man as time moves on. Whether they are teachings from the prophets Adam, Krishna,
Moses,Abraham, Zoroaster, Jesus, Muhammad, The Bab or Bahaullah, it is BASICALLY for the betterment of d human race...war is stupid - whether "religious" or not. NO ONE GAINS ANYTHING in the end (except personal glory which actually no lay people like us can be less bothered about)...y can't these idiots who partake in such wars just understand..which religion promotes killing anyway?

I've never thought of it that way, but yes I guess in a way you are right. I think religion is a good thing if it makes someone a better person and if it gives them peace in their life. But that is just not the case what seems like most of the time. It's too bad.

More people have been killed in the name of religion than for any other reason in the history of the world.

God waged wars to rid the Earth of the people who were living in wicked sin (that's worse than regular sin). He then gave over the loosers to the winners.

I totally agree with you. To me, religion is something that gives people a reason to live. They want to be able to have something to blame their faults, mistakes, and problems on instead of looking inside themselves for the answer. Instead of taking responsibility for their own mistakes, problems, and such, they want to be able to say, "Well, it's out of my power. I'll just wait and see what God decides is best." I, personally, find religion to be just another excuse.

Yes, and you can ever get shirts that say that. I have one...a shirt, not an imaginary friend, I don't believe in religion.

It's true. Religion and politics are basically the same thing. They just want more people, voters or parishioners, and power.
